Holy crap thats fast. I am not sure if its old but i saw it on the dsmlink forums. |
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
bad busa driver or really fast car? and i'll never go 150 on a bike again after what happened yesterday
|
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
TSi. :P
That is fucking fast.:smoking: |
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
The car is fast but I think that curve scared the Busa owner. If it was a straight away and they were really at 150 MPH. The Busa would of walked the DSM. The Busa tops out at 170+.

Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
A stock busa is good to 186 mph. I think it is a damn quick car and a mediocre bike rider, his shifts were slow as shit and didn't sound like he was rapping it out too high. The 'busa may have a higher top speed, but that doesn't mean it is quicker. Bullet trains will do like 320 mph, but I bet my car beats one to 150 mph. That car is definitely fast though.

Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
who cares who won thats freaking fast
|
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
i was in a honda crx with b 16 swap and from a 30mph roll i spanked a suzuki gsx!!! its different from a roll and a start with them bikes!!! still fast as hell though...
|
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
Even with faster shifting on the bike, he'd be beat. Aerodynamics come into play more for the bike, but that car is fast.
|
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
if it began at the line, the bike would get to 150 a lot quicker...... wait, thatll be a race to watch.... thats one fast dsm!!!
|
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
Here is a DSM versus Busa off the line at good old Rockfalls. Steve Hill used to own that one a few years ago ... (the DSM that is).

Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
What would be a good race would be a turbo charge Busa vs that car.
|
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
The DSM would get anihilated unless it is Shep or Brent.

Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
after racing my bike against swannys stealth, I say its pretty much bad bike driver, compiled by a fast car. Swannys stealth made 481awhp (after the race, prior was 53?awhp) and I had him to 150mph. Then my bike would really slow up cause of the wind resistance and swanny would then fly by my like a bat out of hell cause the bike couldn't maintain it acceleration like it had till 150mph, it takes for ever for it to go from 150-160mph. And by 155-160mph its basically topped out unless the wind is behind me.
I mean think about it what does a busa with a good driver trap in the 1/4. Thats what the car would have to trap to beat him. |
Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
I know both of these guys and that curve in the road is nothing. The car is sick and is going after a zx10 next. FYI they know each other and it was a friendly race. It took a couple weeks to set it up as well....Oh and not a n3wb rider.

Nope, I have seen a couple around though. I don't like the looks of it much, but it is supposed to be fast as hell.

IMO you haven't driven a bike. I haven't rode a busa but I do know that a R1 can do 105 in first gear....put 2 and 2 together... |

Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
Actually bikes use sequential trannies so you don't need the clutch if you blip the throttle. It is hard on the tranny though and since the tranny shares the oil with the engine will cause problems over time. But what do I know, I haven't driven a bike either, only ridden them for 13 years.

Re: GSX vs Hayabusa
This car didn't do too bad against a bike either. http://media.putfile.com/Talon-vs-R6
