91 octane 27.9 cents a gallon!
 

OAsis on East River Road and about 85th in Coon Rapids. 16 gallons was under 5 bux.

They screwed up on the pricing, probably will be fixed by the morning, they are closed so its pay at the pump. Who knows how long the gas will last?

I was bored so I drove up there. There were 10+ people in line and two cop cars either directing traffic or preventing people from coming in. I laughed out loud, turned around and went home.

So as I was reading this, I was thinking.. hmm, that sounds pretty close to my house(close enough anyway..). Then I thought about where that would be.. I then realized that gas station is owned by one of my friends dad! I just chatted with him.. I guess it's fixed now..

I just saw this on the news, I couldn't catch exactly what they were saying. But I heard it say that a gas station in the Twin Cities what selling gas for 27 cents per gallon.

Damn, they were selling it at that price the whole day, even when they were open. In fact my wife's friend tried to tell the guy behind the counter that the price was wrong but he gave her a blank stare, that was at around noon yesterday.

Accident, I had believed someone fat fingered the price but apparently it was a computer glitch? And that store had to have lost over 600 gallons of gas as the deal/loss had been going on since at least noon yesterday not the three hours reported.

I never use 91 either. In texas, we had nice 93 octane at every gas station.

Yeah, he told me it was a computer glitch. But it has to be a big hit $$ wise. Oh, and they lost more then double the 600 gallons reported.

I kinda thought that was them as well, very nice family. The son told me that they can price gas at any price for only one hour per day, otherwise it's a set price over what they pay for it. That's going to hurt.
