Anyone know what happened to Buschurs Tube Chassis Talon? I have been wondering this lately and cant seem to find much on google. I think that had to be one of the best DSM rivalrys between Rau and Buschur.

The only question I have is, why hasnt Shep unleashed the beast? I would bet if Shep put his motor (or an identical setup) in that car, it would stomp Rau.

Thats crazy. i thought maybe Buschur like crashed it or something. It looks like Shep won it on pinks. :) That would be sweet if shep built it and ran after Rau, Another Rivalry.

Whats funny is that on his myspace the caption under the picture is "Working late into the night at my shop with Brent Rau"

So I take it that's Sheps shop? To me all that says is Shep could be working on it.... I would think there would already be more info out there if for some reason Shep now owned the 2G.

Last I heard is that Shep bought it, but that is Brents car in the right hand corner of the pic.

Well that's cool, looking forward to seeing what he does with it. This is the first pic of the shop I've seen, looks like a very nice and clean setup.

You're forgetting that Brent has a Liberty tranny, Shep has a glide. It would take some power to overcome that difference, plus Brent has mucho experience driving RWD. And Shep's car would probably have a 100-200# weight penalty for the different chassis configurations. I think Brent would take it every time by quite a bit.

Brent and the RWD Talon aren't even in the same class. Brent's isn't a full tube frame and his class requires the car to be heavier and run a smaller turbo.

He's running NHRA this year, but I can't find any info on the classes for that newer than 2005.

I dunno were you got the info I was "hooked up" with jake, but I'd check your sources. I do talk to dustin more then most people I know, so if that qualifies as having a friend, then fine.

Man, you guys are mean.

About the only thing you're going to get a deal on from Jake is a turbo setup. That boy changes turbos more often than I fill the tank on my DSM.

Thanks for giving me the info on were that 2g went too. I did not know Shep bought it from Dave. But eh...I also do like how clean that shop is. I hate to see it in the winter time!
