Superbowl plans

What is everyone doing for the Superbowl today? I'm headed to Old Chicago in Eden Prairie with some friends and coworkers if anyone else wants to join.

A 72" screen awaits me in the basement. It will be a good time with family and friends. Can't wait for the commercials. Bud should bring back the frogs/ferret.

Stay'n in and keeping warm. Just picked up a new 32" LCD HD tv last night so we are going to relax and watch that.

Re: Superbowl plans

Yup, setup the LCD tv in the living room so we can enjoy the game in HD! Gonna lay low and keep warm!

God damn everyone has turned lame! I am dissapointed, not a single person is leaving their house for a house party or anything.

I have spent too much money this weekend already. I'll just be watching it on the big screen at home more then likely.

Anyone else had any issues with the feed on the game today? We are with Cable (Charter) and it's been really jumpy at times with the picture.

No problems with good old fashion rabbit ears, and the HD signal!

TheBlizzard 02-04-2007 09:38 PM

Re: Superbowl plans

I have Charter as well and have noticed a few things that were kind of weird. But even HD isn't perfect. What a fucking shitty Superbowl though, even the commercials suck. Only a few funny ones.

scheides 02-04-2007 09:44 PM

Re: Superbowl plans

It's been perfect for me--I'm just catching CBS via an HD antennae.

Rex can lick my sack.

Halon 02-04-2007 09:53 PM

Re: Superbowl plans

Yup, good old antenna, good quality HD air signal, and no problems!!

AJ 02-04-2007 10:23 PM

Re: Superbowl plans

HD antenna?

You know, the first half of thie Superbowl was fuck'n awesome. From the kickoof to the missed FG and everything in the middle. I then got bored real fast with the halftime show, and the commercials and game went to a repetivive state with me, we just didn't pay all that much attention to it.

I went to Hooters with some friends. It was pretty fun.

Re: Superbowl plans

Halftime sucked. The only commercials that were good were the office warrior and the Bud Light ones. I'm suprised Manning won MVP honors. I thought it would have been Rhodes.

Kracka 02-05-2007 12:44 AM

Re: Superbowl plans

What dumbass hired Prince for the halftime show?

Thor06 02-05-2007 02:29 AM

Re: Superbowl plans

The half time shows always suck ass. Remember last year? That was horrible. I was starting mile 4 tonight as the half time show started, I'm glad I left when I did. The first quarter was a good time and the commercials were funny the first time but I caught the last 10 minutes too, I didnt think it was too special.

I was rockin out with the 20" non HD TV and fiddle fucking around with my rabbit ears for 30 minutes trying to get that annoying "shadow" to go away.
