Here it is... 1987 Toyota Supra 5Spd

I got this with a spun rod bearing for 200.00! It currently has the 7M-GTE motor in it, but after talking with cher i think im going to change it up a little. I need to do a little more research on it though. Right now im in the process of taking the motor and tranny out, we'll see how it goes:D

Here are a couple of pix...

Yea, the outside is alright, It could definatly be waxed or something. It was sitting outside in someones font yard for a while and kinda got messed up, The interior is the worst part... The carpet and seats are shot, no hope of saving them, but i have some other seats laying around, and as far as the whole carpet situation, I'm going to rip it out and Hurculine(sp) it.

Im hoping to get the motor pulled by sunday, and im going to start looking around for that motor. Hopefully i will have the new motor and HG by next weekend and it'll start being put back together:D

Are you planning on turning this into a track car or just another DD? Taking out the carpet and deadening will make a noisy ride.

Im just going to use it as a daily driver, I don't really mind a noisy ride, but i was thinking that by using the herculiner(sp) it should keep the noise down, if not do better then the carpet.

I would suggest looking around on some of the supra forums and look for a part out. Carpet will be a nice amenity(sp?) for a DD.

I joined a couple of forums, and have been reading up on the car. The interior is the last thing im worried about:D

So today i got the motor and tranny pulled:D When i pulled it out i noticed a hole about the size of the bottom of a pop can. lol, The guy that sold it to me did say that there might have been a hole in the block and sure enough there is, Oh well, the tranny looks fine from what i can tell, when i origanally got the car it did start but oviously ran like sh*t well now i know why. But the tranny did work.

Im going to start looking for the new motor and hopefully find one soon, I want to get this thing on the road at least once before there is a ton of snow on the ground.

If anyone knows any sites that has the 2JZ-GE long block, Full motors, Or any useful parts like that HG that im going to need, Post Post please:D
Cher told me a couple of sites but i already forgot them.

I'll probably start to work on the interior until i get the motor. I will keep everyone updated with pix.
