The above dates are track days for RF, i know that the LSE guys are shooting for this sat. (14th) for sure, and i believe that the MAP guys should be there also looking to hit 10s on a new tune.

Who else is going?

I am going to try and make it for the 21st, i guess as long as the weather holds off and that my car gets put together i should be there.

I'm gonna do a few more high speed shifts this week and make sure 3rd is good enough to keep from grinding to let me race once more. If it's good, i want to go. I don't know what day it will be though. Saturday (14th) is a $69 test day by the way. I wouldn't mind going on test day just for the sake of relaxing on Sunday.

I think Nash and myself will be ther. I'm going with the LSE boys as I have a 4 day weekend. If I'm lucky the Divorce will be finalized on Friday if my soon to be exwife would cooperate.

I just checked the weather, and it looks like this weekend, may be the last good track day.
Outlook for the 21st, 50F and 60% chance of rain. Either way i want my car done asap. And there is plenty of time for change on the 21st.

I plan on heading to the track on Saturday. I don't know if I am going to race the Talon as I want to put it up for sale, I don't want to have to fix anything.

I want to go, but I don't think with the snow falling, and my driving on a full tank now, that race gas will make it into my car for the rest of the year. I'm done for the season. It's just a daily driver.

Yeah, it was all sun 2 days ago, i checked today and the whole weekend, here, at RF and CF calls for rain. BTW, the rain day is sunday for RF. So this sucks.

I am probably down for the rest of the year. Fucking flywhee/tranny is rattling like a bitch again. Got about 200 miles on it. I am ready to TIG the fucking bolts to the flywheel! She's gettin' the impact and loctite this time.

I'll be at rock falls spectating, but the car will still be there. I haven't gotten any pics/videos of my friends cars. So that's what's on my agenda tomorrow for the track. Hope to see some of you guys there, maybe go out to eat afterwards too?

I checked the end of my tranny nose last time and it looked perfect. My damn flywheel bolts just loosen up all the time. I have progessively been getting nastier on them. The damn 2.4's must rattle like a bitch!

Just tack them on Jet and then grind them when you remove them. Shit this has to be the third of four time you have had to remove the tranny because of this. Wonder why? The twin disk rattles a lot? Motor mounts? Its weird.

Have you tried getting new flywheel bolts? Maybe the stockers are stretched and not holding anymore similar to when you reuse manifold-to-turbo bolts.

What about drilling a small hole through the head of each bolt and putting a safety wire through them?

Tack weld and safety wire have both been considered. I will probably do one of the two next time if this doesn't hold. Probably the tack weld.
