Does this day work for anyone else? I would like to head to Cedar Falls. Rock Falls is also open and I might be down for that. I am just worried about being sent home early.

Fast people go to cedar, slow people go to rockfalls. (Fast be 11's and faster).
Cedar is going to have phenominal track prep that day, so please leave the street tires at home people (yeah king of all season tires on way to powerful of a car is saying this!).

It's might be busy that day. A lot of the TCStangs guys are going that day and the Porky's shootout is going on that day. Last year when we were down there during that, we only got 2 runs in all day. They were letting the cars with slicks run 5 times as much as the street tire cars.

I am going to this, just to watch though. And yes Cedar Fall track is 50 times better than Rock Falls. There is no way I would have went 12.8 at the Rock in the GTP. When I went there wasn't many cars there though, I could have went round and round but only made about 6 passes.

That's true, I was down for that last year. I know they got a ton of flack for not letting the street tire cars run as much. It's too bad the Porky's thing is going on, it will make it a ton busier. I think I got 3 runs in last year.

Agreed, last year sucked ass. With Porkeys SO and TCstangs there that day I'm going to opt out, its not going to be worth taking the day off for it.
Last year at CF that day was like a VERY bad day at Rock Falls, track prep and all. Oh and double the drive time.

Its fun to just watch when its like that, there will be a lot of fast street cars there though. I know of a few turbo Mustangs that are going that are well into the 9s.

I'll be down there Friday and Saturday with the LSE crew and the car will be there unless we blow it up during the dyno day. (I'm hoping to come close to maxing out my fuel system) but regardless I'm going.

Looks like my twin disk ate my tob and a bit of the tranny bellhousing hub that the tob sits on.

It's mostly my fault, I should've put a throttle stop and adjust it perfectly. I just moved my seat back and quit pushing the clutch to the floor like always, apparently that was still too much. There's also some talk that the stock Mitsu TOB doesn't work well with the twin disk. No money to fix it and no time either.

Man, I hope that isn't what it wrong with my clutch too! I have mine adjusted so engagement is pretty low in the pedal travel so it shouldn't be moving too far, hopefully! The weather is sucking ass so I don't know if I will be able to get at it before the dyno day.

Hmmm.... it had a hell of a vibration going on. That is why I thought the flywheel was loose again. It would be a shame to kill a shep tranny like that!

Which part of the hub did it eat? My TOB seems a bit looser on the stub, but might be me getting paranoid.

Mine did end up being just the flywheel bolts loosening up again. Whew! I dunked them in loc-tite and torqued them down good. If they loosen up again I am taking the impact to them.

Not to be too rude, but i hope that u are going to watch, this day at CFR will be mostly 9 & 10 sec cars on drag's at the very least. There might be some 11 sec cars, so basically if u don't fall in the above catagories you are just gonna slow the action down and piss people off. Not to mention that CFR will probably not let you run too many times.
