This is a well put together video showing the build-up and performance.

Enough said.

Re: Ford GT TT

Eh.
I'd like to see it run at the track, or against a proven car or something.
Some couple hundred foot from rolls and a bunch of wheelspin isn't that cool.

Nicely edited video though.

Maybe you should have watched it alll the way thru. ;)

Re: Ford GT TT

I did.
It beat a few cars on the street, hardly tells how fast it goes. Hell I have videos of me crushing an r6 from a roll on pump gas, but it doesn't measure what the cars performance is.
The 1000whp dyno shows that the car is very potent...the guy getting out saying that it doesn't spin shows that it hooks (except it gets sideways after the 1/8, that is kinda weird)...
I am just saying, the impressive parts to me is the stock fuel system and the stock motor.

I would love to be in that car and feel the power. That would be one crazy ride.

$20 and I'll take you for a spin.

the vid showed the car make a pass at the track. he rolled off the line, then hit it, and ran a 10.40@144.

I missed that 10.4, I thought they run a 11.3@133mph stock? I saw the 20@xx when he spun the car around. Cool for mostly stock stuff and "1" day of fab.

I didn't catch that part, nice catch.
So the car hauls out pretty good then. Judging by the incar I figured it was about 145mph traps.
I remember the "I am gonna hit the wall" track visit where the owner of the shop powered thru 2nd gear.

No, I honestly didn't see the track times.
Trust me no Jelousy here, I have seen plenty of cars with "high" hp (including mine) that are worthless at the track or on the street (pending your scene) due to other issues with the chassis.
10.4@144 rolling out of the hole proves the car can back up its "power" talk.

Shane@DBPerformance 09-19-2006 02:11 PM

Re: Ford GT TT

The 10.4@144 was on the lower HP setup when it had the stock blower and nitrous.

Hmm...thats what I thought.
It makes more power, it should be faster....if It can put it down. I remember him saying that it doesn't hook at the track, but does on the street.
Guess he needs some vht, lol.

It's all good, but I can say I am jealous of your car... lol :)

VHT ain't gonna help that thing any. A nice set of slicks would probably help though since they're already using smaller Cobra rims.

That scene near the end at night with nero is outside Titan motorsports.. I've been there and purchased from them. They have many a table with phones and people selling many a part via wires. There's also a mcdonalds right behind that camera. :)

Sweet vid. makes me want 1500 hp.

Re: Ford GT TT

When nerro says it's a sick car then you know it's gotta be fast. Considering he owns Titan motorsports and I'm sure he's gotten a ride in the shop supra or at least several other 1000HP cars his shops built.

That is probably the greatest video on the Streetfire, next to the mnsc duluth cruise one :)

Thanks Al Gore for creating the interweb.

Lol. 2nd post and He's already making quality posts! Nice to see you on the dark side, here xBrian. Not the usual mnsc stomping ground, but fun, nontheless.

p.s. don't post boobies.

I don't like domestic cars, but I have to say I like the Ford GT; and this thing just blows my mind with the power it makes on stock fuel and motor. I wanna see what he does with the bigger motor coming up and I bet maybe he'll be slappin' on twin gt45rs on there:)

I bet we'll see 1300+WHP!!!

Re: Ford GT TT

That is a pretty sick vid. You can not go wrong with a ground thumpin' v8. I really did like how he saved it. And on top of all that his A/F's are in the safe zone. When they updated the Dyno it made over 1000hp. And yes some nice sticky tires and that car will really move. Oh and the convo with that guys wife or girlfriend is funny.
