Meh, it seems to go down about once a month. No real biggie if you ask me, kind of hard to filter through the posts to find useful information.

I agree but there is some good info on tuners you just have to find it like you said. Remember not everyone has access to NABR;) besides the tech archives. There is some very good info in there but most of it isnt very current.

A forum that is closed to public enrollment. Only the tech archives and donation link are open to the public.

Here is the link for the tech archives.

I forgot I still had an active account on NABR. It's a place fo reading to most people, but i've posted on automatic tranny issues before when we had Jana's car and it's nice to get replies by some of the big dogs on problems when it's needed.

Are you still active though? I know atleast one person whos account was recently deleted because they never posted, just read.

Off topic but is your sig correct? Only 7 smokes in the last month and almost a half? That is only like one a week. Good job, I wish I could say the same.

Unless there are things going on behind the scenes, idle NABR accounts are only deleted if your username is not displayed as your first and last name. People who violate this rule are given a public warning and if they don't change their display name, their account is gone. I'd PM Hill with any questions since he's a NABR moderator.

Re: Dsmtuners???

I actually checked last night and was still active. I'm still a FNG with only a few posts but I did update my profile to display my name correctly.

And my sig is off a bit, it's actually 10 now.

I have tryed to get on a few times a long time ago and had no luck in being invited or accepted. It would be nice to be able to see what some of the top people are doing and get advice though.

I am sure that was probably the case then. Probably didnt have the name displayed properly.

I can honestly say that I wouldnt have anything to add to that forum as far as advice that hasnt already been given but it would be nice for another more reliable source for info.

You have to be invited and approved.

Re: Dsmtuners???

NABR has a lot of guys who know a lot about DSM's and have fast cars. But their elitist attitude is pretty gay. If you cars not as fast as theirs they tend to want nothing to do with you. They do little to help the general DSM community.

Re: Dsmtuners???

Oh ya this post was about Tuners. If Tuners is down check DSMTalk. They are pretty close in content.

I'm not going to start a big argument/debate/whatever about NABR on here simply because it's not needed as it is disrespectful to Chris, Allan & Jana since DSMStyle.com is their's. However, I will say that I have had zero trouble with "attitudes" on NABR as as along as you promote intelligent discussion, you are respected as a NABR member.
