They do make the car look small lol, but in this case its more about the go than the show. They are light as hell, and with these bias-ply (wrinkle wall) tires I should definately get out of the hole hard and hopefully save some driveline parts in the process ;)

There are better options for tires and wheels, but meh, if it works, it works I guess. Got spare transfercases and axles?

hmm...
So are you running something larger than a gt42R or what?
Good luck at the track.

I think you need a trans am chicken sticker on the hood and a mullet j/k I like the tires. But if your car was black the rims would look better? But what look good is running a good ¼ the most.

My thoughts too. It's gonna hook so good that tranny parts may separate themselves from the rest of the car.

Re: Daddy's got a new pair of shoes...

The car is stripped pretty good so that will help a lot. If it was full weight it would not even make one pass with that tire/wheel combo. Better set the two step to about 6k.

I wouldn't necessarily say I am street driving it lol, but you will see me down at uni very soon :)

As far as the spare drive train parts go, have you seen my other post in which I am parting a 2G AWD except for the drivetrain ;)

I actually chose these tires to try to save the drivetrain over a set of Drag Radials. I spoke with Marco a few times, as he is the only one I could think of running 4 slicks besides shep, and he believes that the wrinkle effect actually acts as a cushion as they give a little on the launch. That and utilizing the E brake to preload the drivetrain is how I hope to hold it together... For a few passes at least ;)

Sounds like a plan, depending on which track we head to I may only get one run ;)

wait, wait, unless you are literally talking about running with your legs, that means you're getting the stealth back together?

GO MAKE SOME POWA!

The rims don't look that bad, not my first choice though. It could look worse, that's for sure.
