May 19th Get Together Free Drinks and Food!!!!
 

A few of us have decided we need to have another night out like that last one on St. Patricks day. The two dates we have choosen are either May 26th (Friday) or May 27th (Saturday). There is a poll associated with this thread. If you are interested in going out with all of us then pick which day would work best for you. I will let this run for one week and then we will make plans for which even day has the most votes.

Where we are going is still up in the air. I am open to where ever, it doesn't have to be a club or anything special. Peter M/// guy is looking for a new spot to do this but we are open to suggestions. So post here if you are interested.

It would be nice to see some of the newer people come out and have a few drinks with us. Oh yeah and you have to be 21 to come along unless we can agree on going to somewhere that is 18+.

Whats wrong with downtown? I think its the best place to party because you can go to multiple places and then just get a room close by. Last time was fun except it was cold and I drank a little much.

Yea post up places people are interested in, but I love downtown, just not block E...

I really do not care where we go really. There are a lot of cool bars that are not downtown as well. As long as everyone agrees on it I am game. AJ just saying you will pass on anything downtown is not very constructive, where do you want to go? Jana?

THE VENUE!!!! nah just kidding. I'm down!! I missed St Patties since I was on the other side of the globe, but this time I should be in town. I'm down for whatever. I had fun that one night when we all went to Myth. We could go there, maybe everyone save up a little bit and pitch in some money to go spend some time up in VIP. But ya, I'm down with anything from Downtown, to Hoedowns!

damn, this is a busy month for me, i have already taken off the 1st 3 saturday's in may and none car related. Anyway i should be down, i don't care just not too much $$$, i am usually one of those that like to buy a bottle and chill, but i like i said I am down for whatever.

What do people think of the 19th or 20th? As I just realized the 26th I have a birthday party in the evening for a friend and Saturday I may be going up north for the memorial day weekend... Boy I didnt think things through when we looked at dates. Bah!

Well let me know what everyone thinks. We need a good group of people like last time!

As for the place, im not sure yet as no one has made any suggestions... but Im thinking a downtown plan could be free drinks at The Annex from 9:30-10:30 and then around 11 go someplace else like Barfly or elsewhere? I should be able to get a few people in for free at barfly, the annex has 5 dollar cover but free drinks using top shelf stuff. But Im open to other places!

See, I hated leaving one club for another. By the time we hit Bar FLy it's packed and you can't move. I'd rather hit the Bird or something.

I only go to the annex for free drinks, after that its empty in there. I ike jumping around from place to place... Sure if you get there later it will be more crowded but its not that bad. Depends if its a holiday or not.

Barfly is empty until 11 pretty much every weekend. 11 people start coming in, so thats why I dont go straight to one club, because it will be empty at 9-10.

We could have another preparty and then just go straight to barfly around 10:30 or whatever?

What about the date though?

I'm down with any weekend, and any place, as long as it isn't the weekend of the 12th/13th, cuz I'll be at a wedding in Milluakee.

And if ya'll wanna chill somewhere and pre-party and BBQ, then I'd be willing to open my doors at my casa to whomever wants.

I don't care what weekend we do it on. And yeah we can have a pre party barbeque at Brandons or something and then go out. People that don't like to go out could still come and hang out for a bit.

Lets do it on the 19th then. It looks like that is the best date. We could either do The Bird or the Venue since they are decent and are not downtown.

The Bird kind of sucks on Fridays and the crowd there isn't the best, it was a Friday when I fought all those guys when 8 of them jumped Brandon and I.

The Venue is cool on Fridays and they have dollar drinks all night so it super cheap to go there. And the best part about is you can walk there from Brandons.

I am game for whatever though. Barfly is cool too. Lets just agree on a date and then pick the spot to go to. I kind of want to get a idea of how many people are going. It looks like it will just be there regulars again.

Alright cool, 19th works great!

As far as the place, we can figure that out whenver we agree on a spot. The reason I like downtown is that I can find a way home cheaply, if I cant drive myself... If I come up to blaine Ill have to crash at someones house or get a hotel room.

Whatever works, Im down for something new as I havent been to the venue or the bird. But I get to pick the next spot after this gathering ;)

Craig can you get rid of the poll then and put up a date in the title?

Im am sure Brandon wouldn't care if you crash at his place. I have fell asleep a few times there before by accident. Yes I will update the title and get rid of the poll. So the 19th it is. The place is yet to be determined.

But I think we can all agree to start out at Brandons for some food and drinks and then go out from there.

Ya, I still have nightmares of the Bird! Nah really I don't care where we go. There's also some new place that's within walking distance of my house called Bella's. I haven't been inside yet, but looks cool from the outside, and I heard them advertising on the radio, so maybe it's worth checking out, I don't know. Otherwise there's Majors, The Venue, and if anyone wants to crash at my place then that is fine. I don't have couches all over the place though. I have my bed, one couch, and one futon, and plenty of floorspace! Oh and the venue is 18+ as well for those young ones who want to get crunk!

Either way though, I really don't care where we end up. I'm down with whatever! The 19th is fine for me as well. I don't work on the 19th so for those who also have friday off, people can stop by as early as you want and start boozin and bbqin asap!

It works. I use it constantly when I'm home. No idea why it didn't work in the winter, but she runs like a champ now! Doesn't look like anything special, but function over form baby!

Craig, you still have a 40 at my place and the paper bag. I think it'd be nice if everyone who came brought some booze though. I'll have some miller light, corona, vodka, gin, tequilla, but I just don't want it to end up where I totally lose outta the deal you know. I'm willing to share my stuff with everyone, but it would definately help if other people brought a little something as well. If there is something special someone needs though, let me know and I can pick it up because the liquor store is walking distance away.

I work Mon-Thurs, so I'm off on Fridays. There are occasions when I do have to work fridays (Like weeks where you may have monday off for a holiday), and I get off at 3. But I should not be working that Friday, so anytime after like noon or so I'll be up and tinkerin with the talon more then likely
