Dyno Day Carnage

That's right ladies! In only a few short days we will be throwing down and strapping car after car to the LSE Dyno, and I have one question in the back of my mind: Is everyone prepaired for some CARNAGE!? It seems like everyone I talk to will be cranking their MBC down an extra turn, adding a bit of timing, or are otherwise praying their car does not blow up before the event. All I have to say is SAVE IT FOR THE DYNO!

I filled up on some 111 yesterday and went under the hood to turn up my MBC a bit *just to see* how it would do before the event. I slapped my hand & made myself save it for the dyno, because there's nothing worse than being at a dyno event where your car *should* be running, but is not. :(

Again, we're having food, drinks, scantily clad 18-year old high-school girls, and oh yea, high horsepower cars tearing it up on the dyno THIS SUNDAY April 30th, so BE THERE!

I'll also be bringing my beagle Turbo, for anyone's girlfriend or tag-along that is less than 110% interrested like the rest of us:

Yeah I should have kept my boost controller down. I already have "My" numbers. Good luck all!

Then it would be wayy fast!

Not to whine some more, but yeah I can relate with the "not running on dyno day." It wouldn't be THAT bad if it wasn't my 25th B-day too. I'll be there though, since I planned on it.

I'm not too worried about my car, I'm sure Peter isn't either. Ahhh.....the old days ;) I miss not being able to pump in some leaded 110 and rippin' on it :(

About the girls.....HELL YEAH!

I'm so disappointed that I wont be dynoing....I have all the supporting mods, I just need it tuned.

Anybody up to rough SAFC tuning a GVR4 in exchange for computer parts or anything out of my room? hell maybe I can convince my girlfriend to lend out some sexual favors jk.

LOL. Don't feel bad Chris. You are only the fifth person to get the events mixed up. :) And you are doing a great job of backing up one of my original arguements when the two events were set up.

Lets have some fun this weekend!!

later,
Curt

Re: Dyno Day Carnage

I've never been to the dyno before. How long does it take per car usually? Is there even going to be enough time for all of the cars to be dyno'd? Or are most of the people just going to hang out?

b35talon 04-28-2006 11:37 AM

Re: Dyno Day Carnage

Oh, and another thing. If there are going to be a lot of people there, do you all think it'd be too lame if everyone had like a sticker name tag with their style name on there? Maybe its just me but I think it'd be kinda nice to put faces to the names. Just a thought though.

I could fill a few pages with how many times I've seen this same comment, over and over, on multiple pages of multiple boards. I'm 100% done hearing about it on this one.

There will be plenty of time to dyno cars. The event will go till the crew at LSE just can't take it anymore :)

Come see me quick at the grill tent before you start. I'll be the tool in the Black 49ers hat. This goes for anyone else who needs me for anything (dyno, food, dsm pull off) I don't think anyone else will have a black 49ers hat :D
