The Large Trophy shown below is for the DSM Dyno Champ. This will be for DSMs only this time around. Any DSM, EVO, 3S car is able to take overall top spot and win their money back. The 2 smaller trophies are for the DSM Pull off. Will Swanny and Barton repeat? That's up to you guys!

The general discussion thread is open on the Summer bash. We welcome thoughts and ideas on every aspect and also open to any questions anyone has.

Final details have not been worked out yet with DB but I imagine they will be the same as, or similar to how LSE's went.

Also we are looking to make a change in the food structure for the summer bash, that's also up in the air.

We are still in discussion over it. We are just looking at what works the best, what type of food went over better, etc, etc... :)

Of course, if anyone has suggestions, please post up. We may not use your idea, but we will definitely throw it into our discussions.

Hopefully I will be able to participate in this! I'll sign up when I know for sure. I'm guessing DB will be driving the cars on and off the dyno, but who's going to be in the cockpit during the pulls? Not really sure how it typically works as I've never had my car on a dyno, ever.

Yes, DB would be driving the cars on/off, and my guess is Shane will be the one in the car while dynoing. That's usually how it's worked in the past.

We will drive them on and off the dyno and do the pulls on the dyno. Running a Dyno Dynamics is a bit more complicated than a Dynojet.

Make sure you add James to the list, since he paid for LSE but was unable to dyno that day.

Ok, got the frist 3 on the list.


I am currently working with another company that could be looking to bring a booth to the Event and maybe donate a few goodies. It's been cleared by DB to have them attend and this would be another big step for the site.

All you Pull Off teams need to sign up as well, we have to do that again!!

This is the weekend before a Rock Falls event as well so anyone looking to see where they are at before racing would have the shot.

Got any firends that are non DSM? Get'm to sign up. I'm sure we will have room for ~5 non DSM ars again.

WOOT! I just ordered a full exhaust and upgraded carb for the SCOOTER OF DEATH! I also installed a new spindle on it a few weeks ago to help put all that power to the pavement.

You know it! The thing scoots pretty good right now, but there are actually 3.2+ motors available for these things, which would be insane. Recommended for off-road courses only. (yea right!)

I get the feeling that some of the DSMs want revenge for CVD taking home top dog spot at the Spring Opener by what was pretty much a land slide. :D

I'm ordering up the Trophies Friday for the event and will have them in by mid June.

Question is, will Swanny and Barton hold the Pull off Title? Maybe I need to not only do a trohpy, but get some WWE style Belts for the winners ;) LOL

If its your car or a active member of this board, sure I guess.
It is a DSMSTYLE.com dyno day, not a dsm dyno day. It is ment for members of the community to run the vehicles.
Or atleast that is how I see it. It is up to the site owners to figure it out.

If we need to add a correction to your numbers Jet, that is fine. It is just a keystroke and I am sure the guys know how to do that.
How much more percentage do you want?
My motor is about 25% larger than yours, do you want that added to your numbers ;).

I was mearly coming out to stir some shit. I never planned on taking the trophy home, I just wanted to see some of these big setups throw down some huge numbers. It would be really weird having a DB Performance trophy at our shop. If I would have won (who knows if my car will be running at that time, when you make power you make broken shit rather quickly) I would have handed the trophy off to the next highest dyno number. This was my way of attempting to stir shit for an event. I was informed that I might possibly scare off people from dynoing, and that I wasn't attempting to do.

Therefore, I remove myself from the standings, no matter what the "Judges" gather. If there is time I could always make a pull or two at the end of the event.
I do have a few advantages, (dyno in my backyard, the r&d that has went into my car), and I am well aware of it. I just wanted to come out and have fun.
If DB doesn't want me to spin the rollers, that is perfectly understandable, as I am from a competing shop. I personally have issues with people driving my car on the dyno, so that would be a conflict as well.
I'll still come out however to eat some food and defend my portion of the pull off title.
