This is the OFFICIAL meet thread. For those who don't know, krispy kreme is located in maple grove. Take 694/94w. Get off at hemlock, then take a right onto hemlock. At the next light (elm creek blvd) take a left. You will go down through "downtown" maple grove..past the shopping area, and best buy. you will come up to a light with famous dave's on the left. Take that left at the intersection, followed by a right, then KK is on the right...next to famous daves. I was asked also that the meets are now held on wednesdays. So, show up about 8:30-9 pm. This is a weekly event. Some don't care for it, but it was semi-successful last year, and it's cheap! I hope to see a lot of you out there. This starts TOMORROW 4-5-06!!!

I am going to try my best at getting out there tomorrow night, but i might be caught up on the dyno, getting the car tuned..rest assured, i WILL be there next week. Once again, I hope to see you all this season..

Wednesdays are the MNSC NW meets just a couple miles away. I may stop by KK on the way home from there and see if anyone is still around.

well, it was usually on thursdays, but korey wanted wednesday. So, I've changed it to then, unless the majority would perfer thurs (sorry kor). I am going to try my best at showing up tonight, but if I don't that means i'm at DB getting tuned.

Wow what a turn out I counted like 10 cars total. some 2Gs and 1Gs you know how we do it......O.K. fine only four DSMs and one VW but a guy who worked at KK had a honda So it was all worth it.

sorry i couldn't make it. I was at DB, and i didn't even get on the dyno..then, on my way to get to kk (at like 8:40) then on the onramp, my left front lower ball joint gave way, and boom..went the wheel/knuckle/tire/strut. It's all attached to the car, and I just need a new ball joint, and cvshaft, but still..the fender is now bent.

tell me about it..i am still freaking shaking..I was soo close again to wrecking that car..ARG!! now, it needs a ball joint (I forget if they are pressed or not) and a cvshaft..fuck my ass!

That totally sucks man! We stopped off for a beer and then were flying around that onramp & saw your car. Blah! Take pics of the carnage! Just think...at least you didn't flip the car off of that onramp!

I thought that was you guys! testing out the new tune eh? yea, the carnage is not bad. the car is already back at db, with the ball joint popped back on. I just gotta get a new one, and replace that axle..all you will notice is a rolled out fender...anyone know if those lowr ball joints are pressed in, or can i pound it out with a hammer?

Yea, we basically went all out after that ramp up to ah...an unreasonable speed. I guess with your window tint I couldn't see in. Man, i would've stopped if I knew you were there, sorry dude! I'll make it up to ya some day. Glad you got it fixed up. I believe the lower ball joints are pressed in.

i hope to be there this wednesday too..we will see. I just blew the hg on the dyno today, but it made 240awhp on like 14 psi i think..untuned..I think this might be a fun car once it's done taking shits on me.

Have you forgotten what kind of car it is? The words done and breaking are never to be used in the same sentence when referring to a DSM. Fun car yes. Done taking shits never.

How did you blow a HG at 14psi btw? Knocking like a bitch?

If you have a Thursday KK night I will come up there but I work on Wednesday night so I can't do it that night. I liked Thursdays better myself.

i did too, but korey asked that I organized it on wednesdays, since his schedule allowed it.

I am not to sure..it had overheated at one point, but perhaps the timing was out of sync, since some cams were just dropped in. However, I am unsure that's the issue, as I had everything set up correctly.

Can't make it this week.. My car's royally Fed and everywhere's booked as far as labor. Hopefully I'll be able to find someone with a garage so I can tear it apart soon.

Starting May 1st Thursdays work better for me to since I live close and will then have every other Friday off for summer hours. I'd be there every other week.
