Well the cat is comming out of the bag. Mike (Raptor), Josh (niterydr), and me, Allan (DSMStyle) are going to be opening a shop with an opening/move in date set for December 1st of 2003. I know this is something Mike and Josh have been looking at a long time and I want to thank them for looking at me as being the 3rd partner.
What we need is a name and that's where you come in. Post up any names you think would be something catching. We are going to be taking suggestions for till Friday Oct 24th or until we get one that works sooner. It must be something that will reflect good for a performance/fabricating shop. Now how will this effect DSMStyle.com....? It won't! It's going to complete a circle that will give all of our members a source for just about everything you can imagine between, Elite Autosport, Straight Line Specialties, and Us. The fact is you could see these shops helping each other out. 2004 is going to be an awesome year for us at DSMStyle.com! What do you get if we use our name? Nothing! LOL Just Kidding! We are going to give the person (if anyone comes up with a name we do use) $50 off services once the shop is ready to work. This is just the amount we set tonight and reserve the right to change it at anytime, maybe for the better. :cheers: So post up your suggestions for a premier shop name and lets see how creative you can be! While all suggestions are welcome (well most all) I am thinking it should be based more on capabilities rather than location. We are targeting a market based on performance not so much everybody in a specific area. Hope that helps guide the ideas a little.

DSM Fix and repair :)
Does it have to have DSM in it? Here are some i came off with after many hours of thinking :P : SMD's where we put the DSM back in your car! Vampire auto! Chaoz auto sports where we put hell back together for you! Icy auto..... Fire within speed shop... Shit happens auto shop... Iceman's, we fix what soccer moms (fill in with what you want) gangster auto Rators auto shop :) Well im out for now some shouldn't be taken to seriously just tossing words and what nots in the air to help you guys out... BTW you can add whatever you want behind the name like, auto shop, speed shot, etc...... *EDIT* Mass induction, exotic, Pure preformace, Pure Induction. <-- stole the PURE from jaky! il split the money if i win with a pure :) |

Midwest Motorsports is a great one. You dont want somthing that will get old in a month.
here are two i came up with after some thought: Forcefed Motorworks Inc. Street Machines Inc. I think both of these are pretty good. They are generic enough to attract more than just dsmers, and they roll of the tounge nicely. Both have decent abvreviations, which i think you should consider in your decisions. SMI or FMI. Both set you up very nicely. Shit, I convinced me. I think I'm going to start a shop just so I can capitalize on these awsome names. I like Forcefed Motorworks because you never see motorworks in the names of speed shops, originality is huge, it will make people remember your name. Good stuff :) |
