We're out of real criminals, now what?
Video made by the San Diego PD:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCyMk...page=2&t=t&f=b Pure rediculous, this makes me sick. How about focus on the real criminals making the world a dangerous place to live! |
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?

Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
I hate this country. I really don't understand how its' people just bend over and take it up the ass. How about we do something to put an end to the organized crime the police run the streets with? How about we make a stand?

That's just stupid. IMO. If that ever happened up here, it would piss off so many more people that they would purposely do reckless stuff just to get back at the cops.

Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
All that shit is illegal there cause of CA emissions and vehicle safety requirements. You can't even get a CAI without having a "CARB" sticker.
There's rumor that it could happen here...but...I think I'd move...or at least register elsewhere. |

I'm moving to Canada where I can have my R32 GTR and mod it too. |
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
Its only a matter of time before it spreads from CA to other states. How are all the DSM's in CA getting away with it? Do they just hope to not get inspected?
|
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
If that wasn't a COLDER option...I'd have already done it LOL
|
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
I just watched this Bull Shit video. How is it that the intake manifold is illegal? Well at least i have stock cam gears and the stock FPR.
How do people that build street rods in California get away with it? Cops and people who make them laws need to disappear. It's gotten so ridiculous with cops. They're too afraid to mess with real crime so they have to pick on everyone else making it look like they're actually working. I have no sympathy for dicks like that when something bad happens to them. |
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
Our society allows this shit. I fucking hate what this country is becoming.
|
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
Thats a bunch of BS! If that shit happend here Id move for sure! Here in shoreview they started crakin down on tint. That Im afraid is only the begining.

Let's put Johnny Cockrans's law firm on the case.
Sounds like a plot by the "man" to help keep a brotha down. :D |
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
Its got nothing to do with the "man." It has to do with the PD going after the kind of shit that makes them money, rather than going after society's true problems. I think its bullshit that they benefit financially from making these kinds of stops and handing out fines, or in extreme cases, impounding property as I am sure was the case with that honda in the video.
There seems to be too much conflict of interest and not enough moral standards in a LOT of police departments these days. |
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
Bah, video is down due to 'Copyright Infringement'. Anyone else have a link to another host?
|
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
OK, here's how I really feel about it. That shit should be illegal, period. It's the same thing as assuming all black people are criminals because they're black. Or all Arabs are terrorist because they're Arab. Etc, etc, etc. It's profiling, plain and simple. How many trucks get tickets or impounded because they have dual exhaust? Or oversize mud tires? Or 5 inch suspension lifts + 4 inch body lifts? Etc,etc, etc. None of these things are factory, which makes them truely illegal by most, if not all states.
I'll bet you I could go to any California highway and point out just as many vehicles that look stock, but couldn't pass emissions. |

I really wish there was a way to stop this. That video is posted on every message board I'm on and most people are outraged. I wonder if any magazines like Car & Driver would do a feature about this BS or if SEMA would fight back. After all this kind of crap will eventually cut into the aftermarket parts business. |

Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
I agree about the trucks with the huge lifts. That is actually a safety concern since their bumpers won't match up! I know they have a maximum bumper height and I see many running around over that. They could get some of the cars for sitting too low also.
|
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
Yeah...but even with stock cars...there's not always gonna be a match.
Take my SRT, it's stock ride height. Sit it next to a new Chevy 1 Ton...if he rear ends me...he's taking out the trunk...but the bumper will remain intact... |
Re: We're out of real criminals, now what?
So does anybody have another link? From what it sounds like it seems pretty interesting.
