2006 Auto Show
 

Well it's that time of year again folks.

The 2006 Autoshow starts this weekend. It runs March 11-19th and I know on the weekends it's from 10AM-10PM. Cost is $9 for adults, $4 for kids. I think it's going to be a good one. I've been doing a lot of reading, and I'm thinking there is going to be a lot of interesting new vehicles making an appearance.

I'm looking to get a group going out there. I'd like to see a lot of people from the site, especially ones who don't usually come out. I'm looking at this coming Saturday. I think it would be a fun opportunity to get us all out together, and I really want to go!

Saturday is the only day I don't work. I always work Sunday's, so I was wondering if anyone would want to go out there. Maybe even sometime during the week once everyone is done with work/school. Let me know, I'd really like to see us get out there!

I'm going on Thursday with my Dad, but I may be interested in going again with a group on Saturday. We'll see :)

Basically I have to work Sundays and I have school during the week on Fridays. I'm free until 8 on Saturday the 18th. Which Saturday were you thinking? I'm assuming the 18th since you are down around then, if I remember right.

I might be working/tuning on the car this week. I know that it's spring break for dunwoody students next week, so I got that off. Otherwise, it's work 7-1 each day..

I'm going on saturday with my dad. Otherwise next sunday I have to work it in the afternoon at the SCCA booth upstairs. I think Mark U. miight have his new rally car up there too. I'm not sure though.

Is it pretty big? I never really been to a big show, so might be interesting. I wouldn't mind traveling out for a big show.

Its pretty decent in size, it takes up most of the Minneapolis Convention Center on multiple floors. Next to Chicago its the biggest in the upper midwest.

I never miss it, it's always neat to see some of the new concept vehicles. And they usually have a few race cars tucked upstairs.

Well to all of you thinking about going Saturday, what time is everyone going? I would really like to see more people go, so maybe if we just set up a time and maybe a place, people can meet up.

My cousins and I are gonna go on either Monday or Tuesday. My cousin works at Honda, so he got us all free tickets :D. I cant wait to see the new cars!

I dunno, i got coupons from work for the auto show, but they allow 2 bucks off each ticket..however, it says that it's gotta be mon-friday only. So, i don't know if i'll get there tomorrow...

None in particular actually, I've test-driven most the stuff I like. I do want to sit in a Solstice/Sky just to see how shitty their interiors really are (I've heard mixed reviews). I'll probably play with some of the Porsches and the '06 S2k since its been slightly revised.

I wont be going, i get in the Twin cities at 3:30 then i gotta get situated in my hotel, get my car rental and then go see the rents and go to a party for a friends parents. But im sure ill see some of you this week. :)

No skyline :( the evo9mr just feels perfect and just flawlessly comfortable. Its sick evo9mr>sti anyday.

I loved the maserati race car.. Id add one of those to my garage next to my gemballa carerra gt when that lottery check comes in;)

Overall good show but not what I expected, Cant wait for autovations though,
