My new DD
 

I have been asked about what I got for a new daily driver, here it is. A 2001 Lincoln LS with the 3.9l V8. It has the sport suspension, Alpine stereo system, 5 spd auto, 17" wheels, power moonroof, leather interior and tons of other stuff. New list was almost $40k and I got it for just under $10k with 76k miles on it. Yay Ebay!!

I really like the car a lot. A pretty smooth ride, but still sporty handling. RWD with a 52/48 weight bias front to rear. They even put the battery in the trunk to help it. The car is a Jaguar S-type with a Lincoln body on it.

Thanks guys! Not really any mods going on this one. I am going to make a CAI and might throw an exhaust on it. A V8 at 6700 RPM should sound cool. The windows are getting tinted and a factory wing on the back ( a little one). That should be about it. I want to keep it realiable, so no SC :D

My buddy has an LS. They are damn fine luxury cars with a little bit of sports car DNA thrown in.

His only has the V6, and is still decently quick for what it is, so I can only imagine how nice a highway cruiser that thing is.

25% tint looks really sweet on them, and debadge it as much as possible.

There is a V8 LS with dual exhaust down here in Winona. The thing sounds bad ass! Nice rumble out of a luxury car is just sweet!

The DSM will still get driven. The 2 cars are polar opposites of each other. The LS is smooth and refined, the DSM is raw and visceral! Both have their time and place. Thanks for all the compliments guys, I have had it for about 2 weeks and am really happy with it. I still can't believe I got a car this nice for under $10k! Definately one of the best values out there in this category.

NICE MAN!
I tried to talk my dad into one but at the time he couldn't find one he liked in the right price.
It was nice as hell and had options I never would have dreamed a car could come with!
Kinda funny though, My dad turned the corner and the salesman said step on it! Supprised me at how quick it really was. When getting on the freeway my dad was up to 90 and didn't even know it because of how nice the ride was.
(keep in mind my dad is not a car guy at all)

ohh and my brother has a friend who has one for his DD. It is on spray and running 13's :) and it is still pretty stock

Yep, road trip with the gf. Flew out to Long Island Sat. morning and were back in the cities Sun night at 2am.
