Oil changeed with 15w 40..more miles on it, full tank of gas..made sure there's no rags in the ic piping..etc. I hope all is ready and well for today!

I thought I saw this car at MAP with the other 1G dynoing. If it is, very nice!
Like other DSMs, it's a nice sleeper, until you turn it on. :P

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

It was indeed me. I make the same power as brandon..although he's got a fatter powerband. So, I wanted to see if my "bench numbers" where spot on with what I thought..indeed they where.

well what were the numbers some of us dont know what brandon makes... Like 550whp?

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

I'm 8 awhp less then him. He made 541 at DB, and 620 at MAP. We are at the same boost levels, same motor (2.0l)

Search for my thread called "Winter Upgrades". All my dyno sheets are on there.

What's the deal with what Aaron? I'm still trying to decide if I need to run that red oil filter thing from FP or not..

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

I didn't know if you were selling or changing turbos or what?
sorry

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

quite ok aaron. I'm rather fed up with PTE right now. I wanted to try the new 6262 setup, and if I didn't like it, sell it this coming winter, but It appears since no one wants my 67, I am getting it rebuilt, and thrown back on the car. Then, I'll try some things to fix that revving issue. ARG!

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

Look you want to get emo, shoot yourself in the face.
I am genuinely interested in your car, but I don't keep track on this thread to see what you changed your mind to every time the wind blows.

All i know is you put the car and turbo up for sale, but you were thinking about rebuilding it too.
I don't know.

Best of luck, i would love to see this thing rocking before i leave.

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

Oh, I'm not going emo, trust me. There's more to life then a dumb car. I'm more-so fed up with the PTE situation and how round-about they where with me. Needless to say, that ruined any future business I'd give them. I'll spend the coin on a HTA setup from FP before I go to them again.

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

So why did you want a 6262 if you were fed up with them? I'd help you sell that 67 on link if you wanted, I'm sure it would sell decently quick. A lot of guys there run big setups.

Swifty1638 04-23-2009 10:49 PM

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

I was going to run the 6262 to test it out..sounded promising with their new technology. And, I don't have the cash to run a HTA setup yet, nor will I downgrade to a 14b, so don't anyone mention it. That joke's played out.

Want a holset HX35?

I want to do a 16G again.

Swifty1638 04-23-2009 11:04 PM

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

No thanks. I don't know anything about that holset business. I'm prolly just gonna hold out till I can find a good deal for a FP setup.
