Hanging out at Cobb with Gheyrod! 59k miles...time for spark plugs. Looked like a bitch to do so I made it their problem and went out for dinner ;)

I did the belts a few weeks ago, and have to do the coolant & hoses soon, but I didn't feel like ripping half the engine bay apart and buying special swivel sockets for a job I'll most likely never have to do again (realistically, I doubt we keep it past 120k miles). Who knows though, if we keep it that long I'm sure I'll just have Cobb do it again in 4 years  Besides for engine and gear oils the belts (<$20 for both) and the spark plugs are the first maintainance items that have needed to be done. Luckily, no repairs thus far either besides a few issues that were covered under warranty. |
Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
Spark plugs suck on these things. Changing spark plugs and replacing one coil was about a 1.5 hour job from the time I took the tools out of the box to the time I washed my hands. I used to be able to swap plugs in the time it took to pump a full tank of gas in the Talon. LOL
