So i made an intake pipe tonight and got a boost leak tester from cornfed2.4. Thanks!
Now I just need to do a boost leak test. Fix any boost leaks if there are any and the car will be ready to get tuned. Just a little over a week to make sure everything is good to go!

Re: my new project

I forgot I accidentally leaned on one of the ignition coils and broke it when I put the new alternator bracket in. The car still ran fine with no miss fires but I picked up some coils and replaced it this weekend. now I have a few spares if I ever need them.

I still need to do a boost leak test sometime asap.

she goes on the dyno for a tune one week from tomorrow. I'm getting nervous and excited lol. It's going to be a long week to say the least

Might be hard to skip out on a Monday but I'll try haha. You know if you have the rest of the day for the tune or just a few hours?

Thanks! I feel like I need it lol. After what happened last year on the dyno I have definitely taken the time to go through this thing as good as I possibly could. Shane gave me a list of stuff to do last year and I've done everything on that list. I've gone over the checklist on db's website. I think a boost leak test is all that's left that I need to do. I will also comb over things to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Okay man sounds good just keep me posted. As for the dyno time I'm not sure. I made the appointment a while ago and Shane knows my car lol so I would assume he allotted enough time for it. Not sure how long it will take but based on how things went last year I would guess it will be on the dyno till 5 or 6. Unless it goes a lot faster this time

Shane should setup live streaming from his Dyno room so we can all watch our friends dyno :)

Could be done quick and dirty with a uStream embed.

With less Swifty jankiness out of the engine bay, it will most likely go quicker. haha

Lol I think overall Swifty did a pretty good job with the car. Most of whats gone on with it I would attribute to just normal car stuff nothing that Swifty did

He was cheap when it came to important parts like turbo, manifolds, etc though.

Eh it is what it is now. I don't like using used turbos or engines I've been burned too many times but you gotta do what you can with what you can afford. The manifolds on the car seem good. The intake is a Jmf. I've never heard of redjack racing until I bought the car but the exhaust manifold seems like it's a pretty decent piece. They made the FMIC too and it's a pretty nice unit.

Anyways the important thing is the car is up and running. Hopefully the tune goes good tis time around and we can have some fun with the car this summer.

I'm hoping for 700. More would be wonderful. Less I would be very disappointed.

Thanks man! I'm definitely down to line up!

Okay so it was a little bit of a disappointing day. So i got some of the issues fixes from last year but we still having fuel pressure issues. We tried a couple things on the dyno and basically have it narrowed down to something in the tank. Weak pumps, ruptured line in the tank, etc.

We'll here are my graphs from today. It at least looks promising for when I get this fuel pressure issue fixed

Re: my new project

hope you get it figured out soon man and then 700+!!!

Re: my new project

If you don't find any issues with the lines, FPR, my vote is those ford gt pumps if you still have them.

Shane didn't think it was the regulator because pressure would start to spike then would drop off. He was leaning towards the pumps too. Either they are getting weak or they just can't handle the pressure under the amount of boost I'm running.

Re: my new project

They don't like boost I think, well what I was running (30+)
