got an aliment this morring for cheap thanks to pete. Jeff could not do it his system was down and all I needed was the front and rear toe done. got both trust harness in and the windshiled tinted sense I dont have visors. just have a few other things to do to it today and it will be done

My car will be dirty. Haven't decided if I'm going to put in my sub and amp that powers the front speakers, the rear strut tower brace would have to be taken out. I'm leaning towards better sound > handling for this weekend.

I'm going to update said flash drive. Just acquired the new Oasis album, and that at the very least must be added. I'll probably dedicate another flash drive to driving music at some point tonight.
The laptop will be coming with me as well, so if I get bored with what I've got, that's always an option. Dirty car is dirty, and will stay that way, and my oil feed will still be dripping. I decided I didn't want to risk anything by fucking with it. It's drivable now, so I figured I'd wait instead of risking having the car down this weekend. EDIT: Fuck the dirty car shit, it's a nice day, probably one of the last... I'm going to go enjoy those body lines in a way only a true enthusiast can. |

pffft go to bed. I just got back from being a sober cab and hit a pothole.... It bent my rim pretty bad and I don't have a fullsize spare up here. I'll throw my spare on after I stop somewhere to check out my front end tomorrow.

great time just got home, avg. 29mpg on the way up there about 38 on the way home.
I did fill up in hinkley because jerrid needed gas but could of made it home on the remainder of the tank |

Hope everyone had fun; Jay Cooke State Park was awesome as were the multiple burgers I ate at Anchor!

Jay Cooke was probably the best bombing run I've done in a long time, regardless of the fact that I wore my brake pads into oblivion... I'll get the few pics that I took up sometime within the next 24. |

Sweet times yo! Thanks everyone for coming on this blast of a weekend. The weather was not the greatest, but it could have been worse. Quick Recap:
1 2G down for the count before it even made it to the meet-up spot 1 leaky turbo coolant feed hose on a 1G (easy fix x2...dsmstyle baby!) 1 brake pad grinding/explosion by cmspaz 15 other cars that performed flawlessly Lots of testing & comparing (16g powa yo!) 10 miles of motoring bliss followed by 1 really cool state trooper :) 2 users banned for no show/no call! Overall I just gotta say that if you haven't been on one of these, you NEED to schedule it and make it happen, we had SO MUCH FUN! I forgot my camera :( ...Mark get those pics up from ally's camera asap, I wanna see a full res version of that one shot she took of Kevin & I! |
