Thanks its been garaged kept broken and running since new. I don't daily drive as I use another car for work so it's pretty much a weekend warrior. Still has a faint new car smell too hard to believe but being closed up for almost 3 years will do that.

Re: SE take two! Err, make that three!

Definitely one of the cleanest IX's around. A good carwash and interior/exterior detailing and it should look almost showroom clean again.

Minor setback, shouldn't be a big deal! Same thing happened to my IX during a clutch job.

Re: SE take two! Err, make that three!

She runs!!! After pumping 3 quarts of Walmart's Supertech 10W-30 conventional oil onto the garage floor all seems well with no leaks :) Idle needs some adjustment since it won't stay alive with some throttle, but a few more minor things to be wrapped up, some tune adjustments so it idles, and then we'll be getting some break-in miles done next Saturday.

They pretty much where, probably the best loaded fries I've ever eaten. Fresh-cut, none of that frozen and battered nonsense.

got in 100 miles yesterday the engine was running great no leaks and very responsive however there was a distinct noise coming from the clutch area that only got louder and louder throughout the drive we are going to have to pull the transmission to inspect but it sounded like a broken disc

Sad but true. I suspect either a defective hub spring or friction material rivet failure on his Clutch Master FX300 segmented Kevlar disc.

Running and backed out of the garage (pre-wash) under it's own power by yours truly:

Couldn't have had a nicer weekend for it either! Weather has been sunny and warm enough to eat lunch outside both days.

That's better. Good to see that it’s powered by the champagne of beers. Car is looking great and I’m jealous of the weather down there!

I think the two holes that look like fog lights tighten up that bumper beautifully and really make it what it is. and yes the SE lip is tits as well
