Eh, I've seen completely stock DSMs put down 150 on DD, that's about the same as he did.

The collection of rubber fists in the back weighed the car down. Apparently 600lbs of rubber is hard to move on a dyno.

Im throwing a flag. I say its fear of boost. If your not running at least 16psi on your small 16 your a panzy.

Mine doesn't like anything less than 20. I set it for 16 and it finds it's way to 20 again in a few days. Oh well.

spaz speaks the truth! Besides that, they were months apart, and on different dynos....spaz has some goodies to bring up the level of his car soon enough :)

Just make sure to take care of maintenance items first. Making your car faster only makes it want to break those wear items all that much more quickly. :)

Yeah, but it won't get me there with a good tune. I'm looking for a plastic case ECU from a 97+ to take care of that, though.

Some of the 97+ DSMs came with a plastic case ECU that was flash-based. It's compatible with EcuFlash.

why not get an eprom? or even an safc would probably be enough for your set-up.
