I'll just be using pump and low boost to work out the potential bugs. "Big" numbers come next week. See everyone here tommorrow AM! |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Were working out potential bugs at high boost!
Hopefully we don't fuck anything up. Good luck with your tuning as well. Looks like 2 shops are open late tonight! |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Oh tomorrow is going to be fun ;) Sleepy time...
|
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
WOOT! I slept last night but feel like shit today...judging by the last few posts here I have*NOTHING* to complain about, and I think hughes pulled a late one at his office just so he could come today. I'll do what I can to carry you guys through the day, pump pump!!!
|
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Yoyo, yup I stayed in the office past 2am so I wouldn't have to take time away from the event today! I'll be heading up there shortly.
|
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Pulled an all nighter, won't get on the rollers until tonight.
A big thanks to EVERYONE that came out and dyno'd. It was nice seeing old faces and meeting new ones. Big props to Mitsustyle for such a great member base as well as an active community. |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Just rolled home, another BIG thanks to LSE for hosting again. 19 total cars on the dyno was the final result. This set another Site record and LSE record (i think it was 17 also held by us) during a dyno day.
I'll post pics and shit later, Jag Bombs are a calling! |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
I had a decent time. Good food, no doubt.
Long ass 3 hour drive though, but I'd say it was worth it. |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Thanks to all who put it together and LSE, everyone seemed to be having a good time.
|
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
So where's the numbers?
|
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th

Next highest was Alex Wolner, with a "SC61"(I think its not a PTE turbo, but same thing) did 405 or something on the stock 6bolt shortblock at 28ish lb's of boost. "Halon" made 370 or somewhere in that ballpark I am pretty sure. Outside of that I'm not too sure! I wasn't feeling well (possible carbon monoxide poisoning? lol) so I spent a lot of the time sitting in the shade. Overall a great time! |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
we just got our drunk asses home. holy jes8s. ya 366.x here. maybe if my shit works l8r ill post the sheet. i gm kinda drunj rute ow

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Thx everyone for coming out, we had a HUGE turnout, what a great time! I uploaded pix/video last night as just as I got home, then we went out on the town for a night of debauchery! All I gotta say is that between Andrew (SlowBoy)'s giving Anna (my wife) a lap dance and Brandon's ultimate dream of asian on asian action, we definitely had some fun!
Ok, now for the numbers. This is NOT in order of who made the most power, but just the same list as in the first post. A LOT of people walked up and got on the dyno as we had a ridiculous number of no-shows. If any numbers need correcting, please let me know. Some are gonna be off by a few, b/c when I got them max power was not being displayed on the monitor so I just eyeballed it. Niterydr Uber-Stealth POS could hardly run! ;) Nice new setup though josh!! 1. Halon 91 TSi AWD - 368whp 2. Seyser 94 3000GT VR-4 - 231whp 3. Scrmegl 98 TSi AWD - 159whp 4. I'm sure some of you that were NO SHOW's had your reasons, but I did a lot of asking around for you guys & it would have been nice if you would have called or at least posted on here saying sorry you couldn't make it. I'm not *super* pissed, but just to say thank you for not coming & not calling, I'm going to go ahead and give you a 2 WEEK BAN for the no show. If you want back on earlier than that, I want BEER and an apology. That's all I'll say there. Special thanks to LSE for hosting us, LSE, MAP, Buschur Racing, and Meguiars Wax for the AWESOME prizes we got to give away! |

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
I had a great time for the short time I was able to be there. Wish I could have stayed longer to see more of the cars dyno.
Special thanks to Chris & Anna for taking control and taking the stress off myself (mainly) and AJ. :D |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
I think we all owe Chris & Anna a special HUGE thanks, they took the helm for gatther most of the supplies, getting people paid up and cars ready, and once again being a key part of this going off without a hitch.
Matt deserves another HUGE thanks for spending the day as Rachel Ray, err wait, Martha Stewart and manning the grill. The food was great dizzle! We had some nice prizes to give away. MAP, Buschur Racing, Mequiars, & LSE all had donations for us. In reality we probably gave away $300+ worth of t-shirts, red line, and other misc items. Big Thanks guys, it was awesome! I was at LSE for nearly 11 hours yesterday, and enjoyed every hour of it. thanks everyone! I didn't get many pics eaither, but I did get soem video. |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Sorry I didn't make it up, but I took Friday off of work and was busting my ass for 2 days straight to try and get it together. A crappy fuel line fitting ended my day just after I talked to Scheides. It will be up and running on Monday :( Thanks to everyone for putting it on! I know it takes a lot of work and I would have given more notice if I knew I wouldn't make it.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Anytime you guys need more buns or ice, I'm your man! I enjoyed staying the whole day-10:30am to 8:30 pm! Was a blast! Katelyn was a little bored towards the end of the day, but she trooped it out.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
A special thanks again to the Mitsustyle organizers. You guys handled alot of the event for us, and that made it very easy on our staff.
Thanks to MAP for bringing prizes and a few cars out for comparison. |
Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th
Wish I could have made it but I had to work at 1pm. Glad it was fun and looks like a good turn out. Hope to see some of ya soon at Uni or just cruising around.

I'm loving e85! Last fall I made 284. Only differences between then and now was e85, a new intake, 3psi more, and HKS 272's instead of my old FFWD 272's.

Turns out my Fuel Pressure Regulator was not seeing Boost reference so it fell flat on its face at 4000RPM. I fixed it now and its running WAY better at high RPM. Too bad I wont be able to see the real numbers. Thanks to everyone who helped make a great event yesterday! It was alot of fun. |
