Re: operation redo engine bay

Im sure some of you have heard or saw that my car walked. So now i have been trying to decide what i am going to throw tongether for a motor for next year. Heres the list i have made so far
- 2.4 stroker kit
- headwork done by map
- 2150 fic injectors
- fic fuel rail
- jmfab tubular exhaust manifold
- brembo brake conversion
- wire tuck
- and a couple other little things
So thats the list for now and will be tackling this project again over this winter so hopefully ill have the car ready for next year and get it to the track since i didnt this year. So expect this project thread exploding since thats all my car is is a project

Decked with a 5 angle valve job and valve guids and stuff redone. My head is already ported so im just getting a little done to it

Re: operation redo engine bay

Yeah, I think most people are realizing that our heads are really good without porting, but that's up to you.

Good to see a 2.4 is on your list, it's definitely one of my favorite mods.

If you end up doing the engine stuff sooner rather than later I happen to know a guy that does machine work. lol This person also has hook ups on a few 4g64s.

His user name happens to be DSMINMN.

Re: operation redo engine bay

I will just run the same turbo i am now 35r.

But for an update. I found another 2g that im looking into getting. 98 gsx kinda built just has pistons, rods, cams, also a shepard built tranny, running on a fp black and of course supporting bolt ons. Its rust free and has 10000 miles on the motor with papers to prove and was also built by ams.
The plan is to swap that motor into my red shell and run that as a daily. Then of course build up my motor more or atleast rebuild it over winter. Now this is just a plan right now and not forsure but hopefully it all works out. And comment or ideas are helpfull to. Thanks guys.

Update. I guess this is the first step ive taken on the build for my car this winter i picked up some evo brakes from a buddy off here last night. Came with brackets and also got a evo master cylinder with it. Also on top of that brand new rotors all around. Plan on getting them powdercoated to make them look real nice even tho there pretty nice right now.
