I am pulling mine and painting body color. Hughes needs to do the same on the C7!

Ha, you're probably right! Ideally, I'd like clear lens with colored bulbs.

Re: Project GTL!

Ahh, the 335 ones are just reflectors so no bulbs to deal with. I still have clear side lights at the back of the fender with amber bulbs in them. I never paid attention, maybe they are just turn signals? Now I will have to look!

Killer deal on those tires, I am looking for some also. I was going to buy new, but should keep an eye on CL for something like that.

Got a couple updates this morning. Found a set of Weathertech mats for the fronts off craigslist about a month ago for a good price so I'll be rocking those this winter. Will be nice to keep the carpet cleaner. (also found a set for my wife's A3 as well!)

Got this in the mail today! Found a good deal on it, and couldn't pass it up. The stock knob is long and not weighted. This cuts out about 3/4" and has some weight to it. Definitely improves the shift feel. Please excuse my extremely dirty interior!

After (tried to take from same location/angle so you could see the height difference.

Looks nice! Will be warmer on the hands too in the winter. Never enjoyed metal shift knobs.

Yeah should be. The old was was just plastic... fake metal though.

I used to leave a glove over the shift knob of the evo in the winter.

I have that same shift knob!

I did just put the stocker back on and the added height is more comfortable, but makes for more notchy/longer shifts.

I'm going to say that in the E90, or just how I have the seat, this is better. the other shift knob was more up a reach upward. This is closer to level. But we'll see once I get some more miles on it.

Nice, this shift knob was noticable lower and not line with the arm rest or my arm.

Sounds like this is a better mod for your car vs mine.

Lots of huge upgrades going on here!! :) I haven't done much with this car except drive it and enjoy it.

I found a nice set of summer wheels and finally got them on a couple weeks ago. Avant Garde 18x8. I was happy to get a good deal on them, they are made for bmw, have the correct center bore and an ///M logo to help increase my douchyness.

I plasti-dipped them black with glossifier, much to some people's dismay, I still love black wheels. The car felt way to "blingy" for me when they were shiny...if I ever get sick of them I can always peel it off!

You ever had to get tires installed or removed on dipped wheels? I just had it done and it totally ruined the dip. Not a big deal, just peeled it all off, but wondering if everyone has the same issue

I have had a different set remounted a couple times, I'm sure it depends on the wheel shape and the machine being used. I did wait till these tires got mounted to do it though. It definitely has it's ups/downs. At least it is easy to apply and take off!

YES!

I personally liked the silver for contrast, but to each their own! I like the style of the wheels for sure.

I seem to be a kick with them lately! I have a very similar set on the Audi as well. Just look nice on a lot of cars IMO.
