I had a blast again, thanks to everyone who helped make it possible, the weather was perfect too!

My 107k stock block did me proud today holding the 489whp and 442wtq at 29psi with my BBK-B

I did some tuning last night at 32psi to break the 500whp mark on the stock block. But decided i'd just play it safe and only run 29.

Yes indeed. Video's to be posted later this week (I took a few and will edit/splice/post one up sometime)

He made three quick pulls. Fresh off the street: 792hp/554tq. Second pull (added a degree of timing: 829hp/549tq, Last pull upped the boost a bit 857hp, 558tq, needs a bit of tweaking as it was breaking up on the higher levels. Second pull was clean, 3rd pull was just checking the state of the tune in higher boost level.

Congrats to John for getting it back together. Thank you to Chris and the crew for putting the event together.

Thank you to the MAP crew for letting all of us crash your place.

Sorry I didn't get to see or talk to anyone much, busy help John with the moontaxi. Swifty, Chris, Jeremy, Nick, nice to see you guys again. Mark, nice meeting you.

MAP Crew,

Can I get a copy of run 002 emailed/pm'd to me. I want to toss it in the video.

Yo Aaron, Jeremy here. Yeah i am selling my 90 awd. It's super clean and really a nice car! Made 573hp and 530tq today. Need the $ and we have 5 cars so... off it goes. Thanks to all for a fun day. It may be my last mitsu event?

Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance

Thanks everyone for making this a fun event! The turnout was relatively small but it worked out well for those taht did attend, I think about 70% of people got a prize! :D

My car seemed pretty much right on the money from making 470-480whp at DB earlier this summer--543whp @ 30psi. The odd thing is that the car ran about 1 full AFR point richer on the dyno than it does on the street (you know....same thing happened at DB now that I think about it)....and I noticed that MAP's map sensor seemed to read about .5psi less than my 4-bar--maybe this was due to smoothing or something? Also the car ran ~28psi on the dyno and I run ~31psi on the street, so I cranked the MBC one full turn to bring boost up. My hybrid setup is pretty nice in situations like this, pretty easy to bump up boost w/o touching the ecu but still maintaining a nice flat boost profile.

Anyways, the car is healthy, dyno day went off w/o too many problems, I'm happy! Watching Mark's car writhe on the dyno was crazy, I'm SO glad it worked out.

Congrats to John Lacroix for taking the trophy today! Your car is simply legendary.

And, the full list, missing one mostly stock evo8 that made ~270whp.

Hahaha. Gaylant

I fail for missing John's run. But I win by not getting killed for standing in front Mark's dyno. Pretty sure my brother shit himself. Lol

Anywho congrats to all on the solid runs everyone seems to be making right around 500 these days, thats nuts.
Looks like a evo dyno day from all the pics.

Jeremy, I had a friend mention to me that your car was there I thought yours was a '90 and didn't think it was you though. Good luck with the sale, I need to get a ride before it goes though.

Re: 2011 Fall Dyno Day - September 24th @ Modern Automotive Performance

Agreed, Aaron. Lots of Evos haha. I was there in spirit, my talon was outside all dirty and awaiting some fasteners for my valve cover...and for me to get over there and helicoil 3 bolt holes.

Wish I could of made it out for the dyno day, but the gf's car got stolen, so I wasn't much in the mood to do anything.

I forgot to add, scheides I love your powerband.

If someone can figure out how to put that in my DSM, I will make sweet love to you or find a hooker for you to make sweet love to.

Also, if u like me enough I'd love a ride and to watch you run around me in my POS. (sometimes its good to see how effective a setup is when its running against something else)

Wish I could have made it. I would have loved to see some of those dynes! I didn't get back with my Evo until later in the evening. I will make it next time.

Glad my car didn't come all the way off the dyno. I broke both lower control arms. I just ordered new ones, 39 dollars shipped. It will need to be strapped down a diffrent way if itt ever gets dynoed again. Still had a good time nice to chat with everyone!

I heard about your dyno. Hopefully they helped you rectify the issue as well. It's scary to hear stories like that!
