What did the inspection turn up that was so bad? I cant imagine alot going wrong with a 13 year old house. Not to mention there is no basement, so it cant be foundation issues.

That sucks Chris! House settling issues? I've heard that is pretty common in Texas and Arizona. Hope you guys find one to your liking.

My gf is from houston and wants to move back but she says it's not really all that humid but I've never been there so I can't really chime in on it too much

but that sucks about the house man. good luck with everything

The foundation is fine, but their are roof, plumbing, electrical, and some rotting issues. Basically, sounds like the house was poorly built with cheap materials and the pool was never properly maintained.

^ Ugh that sucks. Sorry to hear it. Its so sad to see newer houses made with bad quality products these days, and even worse to see people who don't take care of their homes and yards.

Oh man that sucks :( Looked like a nice house otherwise!

It is true, new homes, unless made by a baller builder are just built like crap.

Yup, we looked at a house in Plymouth about a year ago and it was the same type of situation; built in the 90's but the windows were practically about to fall out from rot. Sometimes older homes are better b/c they've already stood the test of time!
