Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
I thought Dave had already punched the pressure relief on the 255 in his setup. The second pump is progressive so I dunno if that'd work the same way. I was very curious whether he'd see any fueling issues.
It'd be interesting to see someone do a 255/BAP/E85 w/punched pressure relief on a X. If it works like the 8/9's (never a good assumption with the X) then that'd be a good setup. |

Well after being down for 5 months the wait is over...
Got do DB at around 930am left around 530 or so. On the way home I only tried my daily driving tune and shit...I was scared...i haven't felt this kind of power ever...scared to even try the track tune. Here are the sheets (was going to wait until after the dyno day tomorrow but fuck it). Daily tune: Power/boost http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...scan0001-4.jpg Power/afr http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...scan0002-4.jpg Power/torque http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...scan0003-4.jpg Track tune! Very good. Now you can put replace the springs and make it look like less of a truck. ;)

Seriously though, Dave did the BlaqOPs kit in the stock hanger I tried it in the Full Blown hanger...that's where my grief started. I traded my stock hanger to BlaqOPs as a part of the deal and the OEM hangers are insanely priced. I actually did buy the same thing and that was my first fuel system attempt! |

I vote -10 or -12 welded into the bottom of the tank with a custom sump.
I've seen it done on DSMs for a long time, however its usually for drag, but similar problem with fuel pickup. |
