No i havent watched the video because im at work.
And why dont you stop attacking users of this site as it is in violation of the policies of this site.

Wait, you go from putting words in my mouth to crying wolf? Unbelievable.

Please explain why you would rather us react to a problem (issue in Mexico near our border, but not on our land) rather than prevent a possible problem (violence at the border, government warning to not travel near border). If we reacted to threats to our sovereignty rather than prevent them, Russia would still have missiles in Cuba and Grenada would be a socialist/communist safe house.

Do you brush away flies and mosquitoes until they bite you, or even after they bite you a couple times? No, you swat them and kill them, and repel them with bug spray. When you see mice in your house do you let them be until they actually disturb your property or eat your food? No, you set traps and poison to kill them.

The incidents happened all near the border, and are clearly related to illegal immigration. Secure our borders and then drugs and illegal immigrants won't be able to come here. I don't see what is so hard to understand about that.

Did you even watch the video 1QUICK4 posted? Why don't you go comment on that with something worthwhile for once.

Spoken like a true liberal. When proven wrong, pull the "I'm the victim" card. There is nothing in what Matt D. said that was a personal attack on you.

Theres violence everywhere, not only on the border, and it doesnt always involve mexicans.

That's your best argument for not securing the border? :crapper:

The Justice Department filed another lawsuit against immigration practices by Arizona authorities, saying Monday that a network of community colleges acted illegally in requiring noncitizens to provide their green cards before they could be hired for jobs.
Pardon my ignorance, but don't you have to prove your citizenship (via SS# or green card) before being legally hired in this country? A woman here at my work failed to renew her visa and had to leave the country for a couple months while it was being renewed, took a leave of absence from work without pay.

What a joke!

Quote:

The government is asking a judge within the Justice Department unit to order the Maricopa colleges to pay a civil penalty of $1,100 for each of the 247 non-U.S.-citizen job applicants it says were required to produce the additional documents. It says the colleges ended the practice in January.
Next, they might as well just require companies to write a check to all immigrants and minorities who apply for a job but don't get hired.

It also comes as the department is investigating Joe Arpaio, the sheriff in Maricopa County, who is known for tough immigration enforcement.
How dare he actually try and protect his community!

I am fucking sick of our government. This man is actually trying to keep his community a safer place, and frankly is doing a great job of it. Our government needs to learn from him...I don't even know what to say. This REALLY pisses me off!

The sheriffs office is not a business. its paid for by the tax payers and owned by the government. He should have given up the papers when they requested them in the first place. If your boss wanted a status report of what you did in the past, would you say "Hell no, its none of your business" No you wouldnt, just hand the freakin papers over already.

The federal government isn't the boss over local agencies.

When there is an active investigation into human right violations by the Department of justice, yes it is. They call it Obstruction of Justice.

Really doesnt matter what you call it. What does matter is what the government calls it. And if they call it a Human Rights violation or profiling that sheriffs department is in trouble.

Re: Arizona Immigration Law

Yup, that's why I have a problem with it. The government has more to worry about that local sherriff depts. If there is a problem, it should first be handled on the state level. With that said, I say the guy is a national hero and should continue on with the battle.

This is the very problem with our country right now. The mindset of what the government says is the gospel is only going to lead us further down the dark path of despair. Common sense needs to overcome the political righteousness.

It's the same old crap, two steps towards what they want, one step back when somebody points out what they're trying to do. Over and over again until they get what they want.

Obama wants and needs the Mexican/Latino vote. Look at the time-line for all this crap, we are close to the 90 day mark before the November mid-terms.
