To turn some heads and spark some interest. It seems like you have to be running mid 8's for that to happen these days. It's about time the world found out what we are capable of with a little money invested. Our budget race car runs 9's, this one should be a little quicker ;)

Oh yeah, we also want to show the so-called "big dawgs" of the MN streets how we roll ;)

The eventual goal is to murder Chris by means of too much POWWAAAAAAAA!;)

Re: Our new project car has arrived...

Should be a good street racing setup. The 4G63 went mid 8s in a RWD CRX a long time ago. You put a somewhat reliable and extremely strong 4G into a light car and you have a beast.

And when you throw a bullet proof g54b in there.. OMG. Watch out because you're going 7's.

Doesn't EIP do Volkswagons and Puerto Rico does rotaries?

...Well, sure. But they also do this:

Puerto Rico: http://www.starquestclub.com/forums/...to+rico+billet

EIP: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9t-Wcra_1Iw

Both done on the "crappy" 2.6.

Is this thing going to be done for the Shootout?

Re: Our new project car has arrived...

We hope so.

Longblock is pretty much done and ready to drop in. Transmission should be here today (friday), and then we have all the chassis wiring left to do and then get it debugged and tuned.

It'll be tough, but maybe possible.
