I just drove up by there over lunch. Lots of people, lots of cops and undercovers but not much to see from the car at least. You can see part of it from University right by the Amoco station. Yikes.

My brother just told me that one of my childhood friends was on it. He's at HCMC right now with a few broken ribs, back, legs, punctured lungs, and a pretty messed up face.

I will be getting a first hand glimpse of it down there in ground zero when we go to clean up the train cars underneath the bridge that should be in the next couple weeks once all bodies are accounted for. Its truely sad. I was in nebraska for work when I heard about it at 1 in the morning and on the way home through nebraska and iowa bridges were under inspection everywhere the following day.

I just saw on the NBC Nightly News that Jeremy Hernandez (the guy who pulled the kids from the school bus on the I-35 bridge collapse) has been offered free tuition from Dunwoody.
