lol, kind of a shitty response imo.

Yea, but I trust him, he never lets us evo guys down.

I edited the national forums and took down some pics too since he asked.

I am hoping its a bigger new exhaust wheel than the 8/9's have since the exhaust housing is a bit bigger, in theory they should be able to stuff a little bigger one in there :)

That's a real shitty response IMO.

Looks like a really beefy wheel and it looks clipped also like previously stated.

From my understanding, turbine wheels are clipped on street car to reduce spool time. At least that's one reason.

I guess I didn't mind the response, I am just happy I have the final piece to the puzzle...maybe I will make more power this way :)

I am sure if I ask Robert will give me the low down eventually.

I believe so yea...the new OEM oil cooler might not be at DB just yet, but Danny had ordered it. Otherwise, yea everything is here. Just need a quick ceramic coating, I was going to go to grimmspeed but MAP is right next to work so it will save a lot of driving.

Some updated numbers from the other FPblack build...they ran outta fuel so they had to stop...but made decent numbers so far.

Feel free to start a 'FP Black for evoX' thread to compile data in the FI section. I think you're like 1/20 in actual project posts in this thread, LOL.

I was just trying to hurry and get back to work...I got my new IPhone 4, which is what took these, but if you want to take some uber pics with your good camera I am all for it.

We can talk at DB :)

Heh tell that to trevor ;)

Make sure you orient the clamp that holds the hotside to the center section so that the nut is accessable from the top, closest to the block (point the bolt straight up and down). There's a little gap in the runners of the manifold that make it so its perfectly accessable, in case you ever need to separate the turbine housing from the center section on the car. Not sure how it's oriented stock, I forgot to look.

I think I did at one point, lol, but he was going to go bbk before :)

I honestly never checked the orientation. MAP took it apart for the coating and put it back and DB will be putting it on when the motor goes in, so whatever they do I might be stuck with, lol.

I suppose I could tell them when they are installing it so it is easy if I ever need to do that.

Thanks for the heads up Scheides.

Side note: I spoke with Full-Race, he might cut me a deal on their tubular mani if I show some back to back results vs the ported stocker. I was going to do this over the winter so we will see what happens.

You'll notice like 90%+ of posts are in this thread though, lol.

It is more or less my build blog :)

I still check out the site enough, just don't post much other places because I don't feel like I am skilled enough to, i need to get my hands dirtier and learn my before i do that.

This site has quite a few people that are damn near mechanics.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

^It's called DSMs

Driver Slash Mechanic. lol

It seems to common that people are running out of fuel on their setups.

Don't worry make a helpful post esp. if its something simple that no-one has suggested or just say that was what you would do have 2 people think something is a good idea might try sway someone more towards it.

So a little bit closer now?
