Buschur claimed that there was no cutting required, but they were only *slightly* lying. There's two tiny little triangles of plastic that wrap around the top corner of the stock intercooler that will need to come out. If you notice in the pics above, the bumper is not *completly* on yet, as I still have to do the cutting. Either way, I don't really care, as this FMIC is pretty huge: 24" x 11" x 3.5"

That looks 100 times better then the stocker.... Oh and who cares if it wont work very well with that Turbo. It is more adgresive if you ask me.

It should help a bit with the stock turbo, not much, but hopefully a little :) And yea, I hate the look of the stocker fmic. Cool that it's there, but I dunno, bleh. The car will be tuned up in a few days, we'll see what she puts down!

I could probably get a little further with an upgraded fuel pump, but I'll probably do that at the same time as cams and a bunch of arp hardware. Maybe injectors too, we'll see. The stockers are up around 95% duty cycle already :)

What size injectors do EVO's come with stock? Just a random/curious question.

I know they are like 550's could be wrong. Bigger then the DSMs thats for sure. And it is all based on what model or year you get. I think I could be wrong....

Yep, 560cc. His car was out of fuel. We couldn't push it too far, until he gets a fuel pump.

We go in and reflash the stock ECU. Similar to doing custom chips on the 1Gs.

People have gotten the 2g dsmlink to work in an evo before, but I don't think the EVO version is ready yet.
