This is a Community of Coarse there are no Secrets here. ;)

TheBlizzard 09-23-2004 11:54 AM

Pretty nice. Now you need to find 81 more ponies to knock Mr. Rau off the number one spot.

CRAIG

Shane@DBPerformance 09-24-2004 02:47 AM

Well, if I turn smoothing all the way down in the dyno program like they did to get the 744 number back in the day, then I "only" need 70whp more. :) Time for a 75 shot I guess.

Bah, hit it with a 200-shot, everybody's doing it. :bounce:

santa 09-24-2004 03:55 PM

2. Shane 664whp
nice man when did this pull go down?

santa 09-25-2004 11:30 AM

Someone needs to update again.

npaulseth 09-25-2004 09:01 PM

Cher, way to go man! Congrats on the new number, I can't wait to get a ride/watch that thing go at the track. Good luck

Noah

SlowWhite 09-27-2004 08:20 AM

So are the rumors true that the 2nd person to hit 600whp in MN with there daily drive happened this weekend?

And is it true that a 700whp number also was put down?

:dsmrule:

Shane@DBPerformance 09-27-2004 11:07 AM

Check the first page...

SlowWhite 09-27-2004 01:02 PM

That's the number I heard for Cher, But was also told you hit 710whp.

And Also didn't John L up his to 532whp a while back?

Anyrated keep up the good work guys! - And just wanted to say thanks to Shane for setting that freaking 2G Bar So damn high! I liked it better when i was only 4whp to go.

Anyrated all in time hopefully.

Are you planning on hitting up the track anytime soon?

Enes 09-27-2004 01:18 PM

shit i'll never make that list...

Nope, my car doesn't even run currently. It has been broke since it ran the 10.4. I wish it made 710whp. Maybe with some NAWZ. Since the fully built TRE tranny couldn't handle 660whp in my heavy car without shearing off the heavy duty 4th gear, then I don't know what good more power is going to do me. The rumor mill network around here isn't always accurate,

SlowWhite 09-27-2004 02:39 PM

hahahaha I think it was cher who told a friend of mine who came down yesterday to do a compression test.

Anyways congrats again your numbers/times. I honestly think MN is leading the way on what DSM Can and Cannot do. As far as Parts, combinations, and just all around pushing the limits to see just how far things will go for street cars.

JET 09-27-2004 06:22 PM

Nah, MN is still behind a lot of other states/nations (Marco). I would say we are doing pretty good for our population though.

SlowWhite 09-28-2004 08:40 AM

I just haven't seen or heard about any other state that has the number of people as we do pushing the numbers that we are. Out of our Daily drivers, etc.

I think it's awesome how this state's DSM crowd pretty much are performance orientated.

Goat Blower 09-28-2004 04:46 PM

There's a lot of people pushing over 600whp now, it's not that uncommon. They're probably not posting on Toonerz alot though, except for Shane. ;) It's still a monumental accomplishment though, not many streetable V8 cars are putting down those kind of numbers.

I think Mara should've drove Shane's car though, he is well known for destroying drivetrain parts, even when he was in the 13's. :stick: ;)

Its just smarter to make it go, then show. Otherwise you have a pretty car with nothing to back it up.

Don't forget New Jersey area, they have a shitload of fast dsms and evos. It is insane.

Super Bleeder!! 09-28-2004 07:56 PM

the dirty jerz has everything, fast cars and crazy good music, dunno about the bishes though

Dyno queens and cars on magic dynos that slower than they ever should? Even Sean Ivey gave me props for actually going to the track and getting a number.

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 09-29-2004 12:40 AM

Yea, shane gets props cause he not only is a dyno queen, but he proved the cars' balls at the track. Go run yours Steve!!! Cedar Falls Oct. 9th.

PSI2HI 09-29-2004 04:02 AM

I was just surfing sites last night, AMS has some big power cars now as well. 2 EV0 8's pushin 600+, 1G w/ 700+, and another 1G w/ 800+.

Super Bleeder!! 09-29-2004 04:17 AM

on the most magical dyno on the continent

Shane@DBPerformance 09-29-2004 11:23 AM

AMS are the kings of the high horsepower street DSMs. There are more fast DSM in the Chicago area with them and Devotuning then the most of the rest of the country combined.

I never said they were actually fast, just posted good numbers.

I still can't believe you got that heavy-ass thing down the track that fast, on shitty 17's no less. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get to the track again, motivation is now gone. :whipped:

not gonna happen, its all a $$$ game anyways, how fast can you afford to go

A//// Guy 09-29-2004 10:17 PM

Its more like how long can you keep it running and afford it while trying to make it fast.

We'll have to race trucks on the way down, that's my only chance. ;)

SlowWhite 10-13-2004 01:04 PM

I heard that Jason with the Red 2G from Burnsville put down 420whp@26psi just recently.

Was it at Elite or was it someplace else?

Shane@DBPerformance 10-13-2004 01:50 PM

Not here.

Pimpin Dsmstyle 10-23-2004 11:10 PM

well he did. He probably wont be back to elite till next season cuz i think he just wants to drive it and stop playin with it before winter. Then next year he should bust out some more guns and maybe get on this record board. mean while ill be putting down my 200ish Crank hp :)
