I agree with Craig on this one. I would run the stockers for a couple of reasons.

1) Smaller diameter wheels

2) No problems with tech people at the track. (Even though they are idiots and would let just about anything pass.)

3) You dont wanna look like a ricer do ya? ;)

Dude, I couldn't look any more like a Ricer!!!!

Body kit, mis match painted, Yellow painted interior parts, Yellow Stickers on the outside, Altezza Tail Lights

I can't wait to hear the comments on Sunday. when I run my 14.1@118mph cause I don't plan to go all out. [/b][/quote]
I'd just save the gas then.

A//// Guy 08-27-2004 11:14 AM

Yea whats the point if your not going all out. IMO either go and pull off the best time you have ever done or dont go until you feel everything is "fixed"

SlowWhite 08-27-2004 12:34 PM

You guys are both forgeting 1 key fact.....FUN!!!!!

Why you go and why I go are probably 2 different reasons.

I go to have fun, and to legally play with my car. And to watch the rest of you run your cars. I love this hobby, I love just watching cars race. (Well at I at least love watching fast cars run..)

So anyways got a phone call at lunch my tire/Rim is in so I'll be running my 18's, Still unsure about race gas or not but at least I'll be able to test out the tire before Sunday.

All in fun. ;)

SlowWhite 08-27-2004 12:51 PM

Ya I was.... I also said through out the whole thing I had fun, Thought Autovations was a great Show. Enough Said.

CDeutsch 08-27-2004 12:57 PM

Sorry Brian, I was just rippin on your car. ;)

Looks like at least one 3S is going to make it Sunday. I'm still thinking about going to watch. I want to see some DSMs beat up on some domestics. :3gears:

Mr Raced 08-27-2004 01:08 PM

Well i wansnt gonna run but i think i will go and see how the new clutch helps and maybe get some low 12's :stick: just maybe.

carltalon 08-27-2004 01:10 PM

Im going to try to make it out there

SlowWhite 08-27-2004 01:13 PM

I'd like to get more video of your Evo Racing. I'll put it on that tape with the rest of the stuff I got of your car.

Peter isn't that what you have done every time you have went to the track? Your car has way more potential that the times you have run. I think Brian is talking about not launching the fuck out of it. Which if I can remember right you saying you have never laucnhed your car really hard yet. Not being a dick, just stating the obvious.

But I agree, if you aren't going to go there and drive it as hard as you can there is no point in going really in my book. I don't care if its your daily driver, if you can't afford to have anything break and don't have the cash to fix it, well then you should just go and watch or stay home.

CRAIG

SlowWhite 08-27-2004 02:58 PM

That's funny IMO... it's like saying hey your dsm is running. But you can't drive it.

Well regardless I'm still going to go, I'm still going to have fun (as long as it doesn't break). And I'm still going to hopefully see some nice cars run down the track.

And where will the rest of you be since you feel you shouldn't go if you're not going all out? At home! :stick:

For the love of god people Get out from behind the computer's and go drive and enjoy your Cars!

A//// Guy 08-27-2004 03:59 PM

Yea I knew someone would say something about my car after my comment ;)

That was last year and I did not have a 4 bolt... I havent gone this year at all.

Currently the car is apart for the 4 bolt and master and slave cylinder rebuilds so once that is done Im off to the track for some 13s haha.

He has a strong rear end so there is no way with his setup (which is giantly huge compared to mine) that he should pull a 14. And if he does that is not good. I pulled 14s last year at 97mph...

TheBlizzard 08-27-2004 05:32 PM

I knew you only had a 3 bolt last year but I couldn't resist. See if you would have just went out and broke that fucking 3 bolt last year then you would already have a 4 bolt....

I was going to go, but I don't think financial situations are going to allow it. We'll see what happens... Would be nice to have another 2g out there.

So, any 10's yet?

JustROLLIN 08-28-2004 04:41 PM

Everyone is still planning on going right? I should be there. The only problem is that my friend is in from Boston and I am sure we are gonna have some drinks tonight....

I should be there though, just hung over like every other time I have gone to the track. ;)
