Re: Progress since last year

Spoke with Justin today from pte, he told me to get the .58ar T4 again if I want a massive powerband. It will make the power I want and flow very well. the.58 T4 is slightly bigger then a T3 .81. So, I bought the 6765 with a ported shroud H cover with a .58 T4 exhaust housing. :) Should be here next week.

Yes, its a T4 if you take a look at the dyno graph on the most recent map evo 2.3 build it made over 800awhp on a t3 .81 which Justin from pte said is slightly smaller then a T4.58. So I went with that housing selection. If I'm not happy I'll just swap housings :)

I think he was wondering if it was an open T4, or a divided housing T4.

I have made over 800 Dynojet awhp numbers with the 6765 and a little T3 .63 A/R. The T4 .58 should do the job.

Wohoo! I was trying to get your attention!! I think the .58 is gonna make that turbo hit real hard! Do you think my old style tial 38mm gate will control it ok?

Yes. I'm using same wg on my turbo. Only thing it won't do well is LOW boost, but any real person doesn't run that, so no worries! ;)

Worst case with the exhaust housing, you just buy a .68 T4 for $200.

The 38mm might be able to control it, depends on the exhaust manifold design and WG placement. If you are only going to run highish boost anyways, then it should be fine. The problem is when people try to run them on pump gas with a questionable WG design/location and they end up creeping to 25psi or whatever above 7000RPMs.

6765 != small; I'm sure he'll wax your ass all day long!

quit acting like a 67 is sooo tiny. On a dsm, its pretty much the money shot.

Yeah, I'm going to be at at least 25psi at all times. I'm going to run up to 650hp on e85 if I can and then go for the big numbers om e98. So, I'm thinking that gate will work. I might have to end up putting another spring in it? Its only got a 1 bar in it.

Fucking awesome selection. I was reading about exh. housing sizes the other night and your choice should prove what I read to be true.

Good luck, any eta?

Swifty was over today and I let him know that I'll be schooling him with my 16G. He agreed. :sasmokin:

Turbo should be here maybe mid next week. The rest of it should be here this week. As far as getting it running I'm still in search for a exhaust manifold. :(
