Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
Looks good! Where did you get the fuel pumps from and did you use any special connector to wire them up?
|
Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
And you're scared of a little engine wiring?
|
Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
lol i want good clean wiring, and we where trying to find out why my car never revved..if I REALLY HAD to tackle the wiring, i woulda done it myself, as I do on customer's cars at work, BUT i'd rather have John do it, as it's proper, and he has the correct tools for the right job.

Shouldn't you too, as a mechanic? It's just a matter of being in a little more debt to the tool guy of your choice. |
Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
yea i know..which i hate. I loose motivation to work on my own shit when thats all i do. So, John was the motivator!

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
Glad you will finally get this done, setup looks baller.
Glad that you also stopped sending me pic messages of your shit. So 10s this year? |
Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
copied? yeaaaa....riiiight. cuz the wheel can be re-invented SO many times. I've copied no one, besides my own ideas. so what if others have had a black talon with a 67mm turbo and etc etc on it..know how many white 1gs with cf hoods and 16g's there are?
Anyway, more wiring is done tonight. Intake manifold and pipes are now on as is the tb, with all gaskets and such. vac. lines are all run. FJO is moved/mounted. Just needs power/ground. MSD is mounted in the car now, wiring is done. Grounds are all done. list of what's left: finish wires for COP/MSD +/- for FJO clamps for rest of pipes WG mounted degree cams/put timing side back together/vc gasket/etc bumper/lights go back on pass. seat back in/harnesses remounted swap gasses mod AEM map start. Hopefully this coming weekend, it will be ready. That's all for now! -A. Swift |
Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
New dual spring WG, dump tube, and intercooler coupler clamps are all on. Car should be finished up later today. And, running. Then i'll button it all up. The REAL trick will to be if I can take/send/post a vid with my phone. ;)

Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
Sweet, can I have a ride sometime!?
|
Re: Swifty's never-ending project thread!
Sure! Oh, I also ordered that same filter you got..9" long, 4" inlet KN filter..Should be here monday. We still gotta mock up an intake pipe, but that's not a super high concern.
