Going nuts with this rain, I can't wait to test my launch control stuff and e-brake/brakes. I will be at BIR for memorial day weekend. The goal is to get this pig into the 8's & a higher trap MPH. Anyone else plan on coming up?

Yep that's the plan. I hope all the BS is worth it, vs. a aluminum LR 2.0 with a newer style turbo (My GT4276R is rated for 1200, may as well try to flex it more that what I am now).

I hear ya on the rain thing, this is miserable! I'm having a handful of a time testing out a STS evo9 and you have a 1000hp race car to deal with...crap! When you do get it out, be careful!

Good luck Mark. I am also going to launch control on a push button. I need to up date my build thread.

Re: Mark's 1G Winter Projects

Had a good weekend at BIR. I started to tune in the launch control device, it works well but is very touchy. I need more seat time as I only got 5 passes in all weekend. The car is ready for the MAP event in June. I was able to focus on the tree cutting a .047, .098 and a .2 second light. This video was during time trials and the mustang ran a 12.0, you cannot see it from the video.

I was going 124.9mph, 6.03 seconds in the 1/8. This was a 1.60 60 foot too! I rolled the beams causing a slow 60 foot time. I know how to solve this too.

Overall a fun weekend.

So close! Does the launch control thing help quite a it with consistency? Is it that hydraulic thing that Magnus sells?
