Anyone ever think to question wether he has the e brake up? or if the ebrake is maybe stuck in the up position??? its called the K.I.S.S solution.
Other then that, i think you are on the right track with looking at the flamidation valve.

Quite possibly, there was a service bulletin issued for Conquests & Starions back in '91 for flamidation valve issues.

No problem. Hopefully when RK finds his he can take a picture so you have an idea of what the valve looks like besides the descriptions people have already posted. ;)

You guys are assholes! I don't have time to check out a flamidation valve, and I don't do maintenance work. Thanks for offering me up like the cheap whore I am. Wait, that didn't come out right... LSE would be happy to check it out for you RK :D

Takes about what, 4hrs to change? Rough estimate. They can sure be a bitch sometimes! DSMs get expensive. Better sell your car if you dont want to go broke fast.

Re: Flamidation Valve Going Bad?

I'll do it for 80.70/hour

I'm not sure about DSMs but if I remember correctly the service bulletin for the Conquests & Starions specifies 5 hours.

Oh god. I'm sure glad I refuse to take my car to a shop! Can I just get away with JB welding it?

That I'm unsure about, I suggest calling JET and asking him.

Wow.

Just wow.

I think you should probably get to checking the Flamidation valve. I have replaced a few, and even without a VFAQ its not too hard to do. You just have to follow what JET said. It only takes about an hour, but for first timers, its kind of tricky to find. After that, its all easy.
