Scheides, I have been working furiously as well. Just a week ago my pistons / rods were sitting on my work bench. My battery is outta juice for whatever reason, so I'm going to let it charge while I go check out some boats :)

oh I know, but I also have other bills I'm working on paying, so "spending" cash for something like this just isn't there. I am trying to cut corners where I can, hence why I won't even race the talon. A) it's not quite ready, and B) Don't wanna pay to break it.

This is by far the weakest excuse I have ever heard. Everyone else is driving their own car up there!

Take mine. I will backup whatever I need off of it in case it gets blown to smitherines :) I have A/C power as well as a car-charger. The battery lasts long enough for minor changes or doing a car restart, maybe 10-15 mins. I'll be around tonight. 651.236.0985.

yea, but I also have TOO much to fix first. Clean fuel filter, fix revs, double-check tune on dyno, fix t-case bolts/seal, set up/wire 2-step, etc. Then, relearn how to launch it, since I can't do what I was doing before or I'll melt the clutch!

too much for me to do all today. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I also have other things on the agenda for today..Sorry. I hope to make it to a sport compact day at RF's this year, and figure things more heavily over the winter. from turbos, to nitrous, to slicks, etc.

no, but why race it when I could break shit due to stupid crap that wasn't fixed. I don't care to half-ass something. that's why my car's never really been down..well, except for the 2 months it took PTE to fix my turbo, but other then that, I can't recall another time it's ever really let me down. You gotta know your limits, and live within the means.

I also fail at having a running DSM :( I almost made it in time with rebuilding the turbo and all, but I am missing gaskets to be able to put it back on :(

I need a T3 turbo to mani, a mitsu flanged turbo to mani, and two more for the wierd ass down pipe I have to run with this bastard child of a turbo. Those I could just make though, I wouldn't think it would be all to critical for exhaust gaskets to look perfect and be super flat.

So, any plans for meeting up yet? We should get something going

Pretty sure MAP has T3 gaskets laying around. After that, screw the other gaskets, let 'er buck!

And a small update. It does appear my car is pushing a little bit of coolant, but could be worse. I think I'm getting the miss-firing worked out. I'm back up to 25psi right now, with no missfire. c'mon baby!!!!

My turbo needs a ghey adapter plate. So I need a mitsu gasket on the manifold side and a T3 on the turbo side.

Looks like e85 is available at a few places in St cloud, On the way in Little Falls at a BP on County 46/183rd and 371. Also, a few places in Brainerd as well.

Any word on a Mitsustyle area or something?
