If people aren't eating off the grill then it's 100% free for anyone to come and spectate at any time for the event.

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance

I have a quick question. Considering LSE is practically an hour away, I'm considering getting a hotel up there and just staying the night so I don't have to make a bunch of trips back and forth. Are there any cheap ones around there? I'm on a tight budget so either way its going to hurt but I figure the price of gas back and forth both days in my truck would be about the same as a cheap hotel.

Motel 6 on 694 in Brooklyn Park is generally around $40-50/night.

Hmm. Well both sounds ok. I wish there was something in the middle though. Last time I stayed in a hotel that cost $50 a night it smelt like ramen noodles.

Shop around, you can find something I'm sure. I wish I was at my old house still, I had like 15 extra places to sleep there, I'd offer it up. Oh well.

Can I pitch a tent in the parking lot?!? :D

Wait, you can sleep in Walmart parking lots, just set up a camp ground at a local Walmart!

For being cheap, it's not a bad place for the price.

Hm, well I'll have to check it out. Though I also have a wedding reception to go to on Saturday as well, so I guess we will just have to see how that day pans out.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it. I just found out today that I am being sent out to NY for work. We signed up a huge distributor and I am needed to make a presentation at their annual meeting. Unfortunately there isn't a way out of it and of course I have to leave on Sunday morning!

Actually let me see how this plays out for a flight. We don't have to be there until 5pm on Sun, so if the flight leaves later I might be able to be the first one on the dyno. I know we can't get a direct flight into Buffalo NY though. Silly little million dollar deals... :D

I'll second that. I haven't stayed at that Motel 6, but I drive by it all the time. Its actually a pretty new building and it looks pretty nice on the outside.

The Colt wont be ready, it needs exhaust now since the flex section rusted off and left it hanging. I will have the VR4.

Considering your name isn't on our list in the first post, it's not this event. ;)

Oh you mean for food? I'm not sure then. We don't ask for prepayment. I can check our paypal account when we get home, otherwise you must have sent money to curt. I'll let you know.

Colin signed up for the Mitsu Day on the 29th, but we aren't taking prepayments for food, so I'm not sure where he sent his $5.

Colin is now the fourth person to get the events mixed up. :D hehe.

I think I am going to have to ask to have myself taken off the reserve list as I didn't realize it's Mississippi Music fest that day up here in St. Cloud. It does suck that everyone is dropping out though.

List updated. We still have 16 cars signed up, so it's not anywhere near an issue for cars dropping off. This just means we will have a little room for last min people.

well, i'd better say that If my car's one known problem doesn't go away this weekend with some fixes, then I will also have to subtract my name. that is unless i can enter a different car.

Same request here about the cavalier (i know i know) and a dodge shadow (also i know, but some people just don't want to be helped) I actually like the shadow a little, its uber clean and old school is the shit.

If I get my car situated by then, I'd be about it if you had an open spot. It would be a last second thing though.

Have them show up and talk to me at the event. IF we have open spots (DSMs will obviously have choice first) then it won't be a problem. We may fill 20 slots and LSE could go on the dyno till they are blue in the face if they choose to. So chances are adding those cars won't be that much of an issues, but I can't say they will show up, and be able to dyno at any set time.

If you want I can post this on EvoMN.net There maybe a few guys interested. It was looking like it would fill up with DSMs so I haven't mentioned it yet.
