Re: Starting problem
Well I got the ECU in the mail today. He found the following wrong with it
*ECU fails heartbeat on arrival C44 ground open - repaired C106 12v pad damaged - repaired C106 ground pad damaged - repaired C108 5V pad damaged - repaired C108 ground pad damaged - repaired Pin 105 (BCS) open to IC106 pin 1 from prior repairs - repaired Sensor ground blown - repaired the prior repairs Cleaned smoke damage from IC106 prior damage Orignal OEM caps still installed - replaced (I thought you told me these were replaced Jet) So I put it in the car, cranked it over, no start. Tried it again, and again, and again, no start :( Looked under the hood, thought it maybe is a good ideal if I plugged in the CAS (doh)! Cranked her over, SHE'S ALIVE!!!!! Now onto troubleshooting my insane knock problem!! |
Re: Starting problem
Was the CAS always unplugged? If it was the ECU might not have been the problem but those things that were wrong with it could have ended up doing some weird stuff downt he line.

Re: Starting problem
No, I was playing with stuff while the ECU was gone. I was rerouting some of those wires a little because they wer tangled up by the Throttle Body. And I just forgot to reconnect it. So the ECU was the problem all together. But I'm so happy it starts!
