I would run the van had it been a week later.

Good to see you guys today, if only briefly.

Halon 08-01-2004 02:18 AM

So how'd it turn out? What kinda numbers did everyone get? San Diego guys just did a dynofest on as well. My good friend Sean put down 397 and he's pretty pumped. How'd all you guys end up doing?

AJ 08-01-2004 02:28 AM

200 here, mids 300s there, a bit of 500 on the side. You know.. averaged Dyno day. lol

A lil bit o' 4 hundo slippage. :razz2:

Doesn't anyone have a list of the Dyno numbers?? There is no bragging rights without some hard numbers..

The Subaru guys were over at Propulsion's AWD dyno yesterday. They are bragging because there highest number was 382hp. I want to know how many DSMs beat that number yesterday.

Someone spill the beans. ;)

Curt

there was i think one that hit 511, one that hit 480ish from what i saw.. that is as long as i was there...

niterydr 08-01-2004 11:38 AM

nash hit 511whp on 40psi..john hit and averaged around 480whp, we were just opening up his power band, getting spool up quicker and making more power up top so its faster on the highway. 450+hp from 5200-7500 is fun on the highway!.
CVD hit 357?
matt R on his 16g hit 320whp
I don't remember anyone else's numbers..
mo was over 500 when I left as well.

Shane@DBPerformance 08-01-2004 04:32 PM

Mo hit 556hp/497tq. Cher was hitting low 400s as we were doing some basic tuning at lower boost, but they the clutch fried when we tried to turn up the boost.

382hp is a lot on their Mustang AWD dyno. Probably like 460whp on our Dynojet with an AWD DSM in FWD mode.

niterydr 08-01-2004 04:40 PM

john hit 400+ at rs motors dyno..

JET 08-01-2004 09:45 PM

Sorry Allan, I ran into some last minute problems. I said I would be there if the car was running, but it wasn't. I ran into even more problems today, but it wasn't anything too major. It is all fixed now, I just need to put the timing belt cover and pullies on!

Yep, I know. That makes sense. The STi is making some serious power, but its good to know there was at least a couple of DSMs that topped it.

Sorry I didn't make it. My car is still up on Jack Stands at Jet's place.

In Jet's defense, he probably would have made it had my Oil Pan been willing to play nice. (however that wasn't the case)

Thanks Jet for spending the time to help me with my car, as well as loaning me your beater to head home on Sunday.

Jana 08-03-2004 08:12 PM

It was fun seeing those who showed up, and watching the cars dyno. I was dissappointed in the number that came out, but oh well. I was just happy to be outside most of the day, even though my face got a little red (it was almost gone the next day). :D

TalonFiero 08-04-2004 08:46 AM

It was a good time, thanks everyone who made this possible. Even though I didn't have my car at the dynofest I still managed to get my hands dirty. :bounce:

Jana I owe you a $1.
