You are not "exempted from the ACA". You are following the law of the ACA that says you must have health insurance based on government requirements of coverage. So, although you have not purchased through a government exchange YET, you are still bound by the ACA which will dictate what coverage you get and to what extent you will get it. The Senate, Congress and Obama Inc are exempt from it, it's requirements and most importantly it's limitations.

Just wait, you haven't seen anything yet, wait until it fails. Until then, they'll jack up the rates so high you can't afford it anymore.

Oh wait, but what about the subsidies kicking in to reduce cost? Most who thought/were told they would get them are finding out its not so true.

Ask yourself, does it make sense to be taxed so heavily by the government just so the government can give it back to you in the way of "financial favors" (subsidies)? Of course those subsidies are after they skim some money off the top for themselves.

You really believe Iran only wants nuclear energy? I guess all those ICBMs (inter-continental ballistic missiles) they're building are being built to deliver their oil to market? With Iran being the 2nd largest exporter of oil as of 2012, I'm sure they are having an energy crisis right now.

Obama said and did nothing, Holder let it drag out long enough for most people to forget about it before deciding to drop the case for "lack of evidence". Guess the fucking video we all saw wasn't proof enough? Imagine if a white supremacy group had done it. By Obama's own actions in every other supposed "racist issue" that they pounce on, the Black Panthers were let off the hook because they were black.

2) "Cambridge Police acted stupidly" -Obama
From the incident where Harvard professor Skip Gates was arrested for disorderly conduct after police were called to the house for a possible burglary. Obama admitted he knew none of the details but proceeded to state that the police acted stupidly in arresting the professor. Why, because he was a black man. Or was it because he got billigerent and abussive to the cops with the "It's because I'm black!" bullshit instead of just calmly explaining himself. Remember the "Beer Summit" to smooth it over?

3) "If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon" -Obama
Obama Inc did everything they could to twist the story and facts into a "white" hispanic male shooting an unarmed black youth. They even sent paid protestors to the area to add fuel to the fire.

4) "Hands Up Don't Shoot"
Obama Inc even to this day is claiming racial discrimination in Ferguson when it was proven Officer Wilson's actions were justfied. Claiming that more blacks are arrested or given tickets in Ferguson is just playing with the numbers to suit an agenda. Any time you have predominently black neighborhood, the numbers are gonna follow that.

I don't think money and race drive everything in this world either. Nothing I've said should have led you to that assumption. I believe in free enterprise and fair taxation. I don't believe in hand outs, but do believe in hand ups. The welfare state was never meant to be a lifestyle, although the Dems are the one's that made that happen. I do believe darwinism should be allowed to play it self out more, you can't regulate a harm free world eutopia. I think we should stop talking about race, PERIOD. Stand on your own two feet and do your best, you will be rewarded for it.

Reagrding the ACA

I am very interested to hear your explanation of the specifics of how exactly they are all exempt from the ACA. To make such a statement, you must be very familiar with the Grassley Amendment.

Nothing has changed since then. It's the argument that lawmakers are exempt from something important that is the issue.

Senator Chuck Grassley wrote the amendment that takes away the government health plan benefit from federal lawmakers instead requiring them to get their insurance from the exchanges. What he forgot to do was include legislation that describes how the federal government should pay for the exchange insurance since the exchanges were only designed for small businesses and individuals.

The "exemption" that was being sought by some after was the ability to keep their government health plan. What wound up happening was the federal government would kick in the same amount of money towards the exchange insurance as went toward the government plan. That also was considered an "exemption" by some because technically only a small business could do that under the law.

The whole thing that was called the "exemption" amounted to this - lawmakers lost access to their government health plan and instead had to get their health insurance benefits from the exchange. There's really nothing controversial about that.
