Re: Any interest: Possible Detail Day

From Randy:

We are throwing together a little Detail Demonstration Day in Blaine to showcase the products offered by Northstar Detail Supply. The plan is to start around 2:30pm and go until 5-6pm-ish. We will demonstrate the use of the clay bar, paint defect removal and polishing, applying sealants and waxes, while using the products we sell from great manufacturers like Zaino, Optimum Polymer Technologies, Lake Country, Griots Garage, Meguiars, Grit Guard, and more. If there is interest, we can do a foam cannon/foam gun demonstration, leather cleaning / conditioning, etc. Think of it as a try before you buy event. This is a no obligation demonstration. Just show up, ask questions, play with all the stuff, and have fun.

Along with all the great products mentioned above, we'll also have a lot of high quality microfiber towels (polish removal, drying, general purpose, etc.), microfiber aprons, microfiber gloves, microfiber applicators and microfiber wash mitts available for sale.

The usual format is to have a demonstration car and try the products out on the hood or deck lid. Participation is strongly encouraged as this is a "hands on" demonstration.

For more information, please see our websites (underconstruction) at www.MNZaino.com and www.NorthstarDetailSupply.com

Jet we can ask him pretty much anything, like I said he will stay all night if we have questions or things we want to see.

This guy really has a passion for this stuff and for helping people that want to learn it.

Don't worry about storms, Dan has a giant garage which we can probably fit another 1-2 cars along with the demo car.

Thanks for putting this on Aaron, I learned a lot! Now I am going to have to plunk down some cash to get some products and a buffer.

Re: Any interest: Possible Detail Day

Yeah thanks man. That was really fun and I learned a ton (probably more than most as I'm a newbie to car detailing). I too will be ordering stuff from them. That clay bar pad was neat.

Re: Any interest: Possible Detail Day

FYI they are throwing another one in Blaine this Saturday at 9am until noon-ish. Couple of us are going, sounds like a pretty small number have committed so plenty of room if anyone else wants to come. So figured I'd share in case anyone else is interested.

Re: Any interest: Possible Detail Day

I'd love to go just to see if my paint could be saved and learn a few things. It's got some bad oxidization.

Re: Any interest: Possible Detail Day

If you (or anyone) are interested in going, just contact Randy directly to let him know you're interested. He'll give you the details. I only know there's a couple of us who are going for sure, no idea who else is going.
