Awesome. Hope to see it in person one of these days!

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
The final piece for 600+HP
http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/h...e/172306be.jpg -8 fuel lines. And yes I do realize that fuel line wont help me but I wanted to switch to black and it was a good time to do so while switching to the dual fuel pump setup. And lets face it -8 will look better then -6. |
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Nice.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Where did you order the lines from? Was it a kit? I order some stuff from STM. But never again! Screwed up my order missing pieces wrong parts ect. Not to mention almost 45 days to ship. Crazy! Just wondering cause I may just reorder all new then piecing what I have together.
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
I pieced it together myself. ANPlumbing.com. I have had little issues with them. Only time was when they failed to tell me an item was out of stock until 3 weeks after I ordered it(and I had to call). But it was an exchange so I looked past it. I have ordered through them on 10+ occasions. And they are the cheapest place to get Earl's fittings I can find
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Agreed, I have ordered through them also and they did good.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Thank you. Car looks good btw

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
AN Fittings = $$$. I like the all black look.
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
I made 579hp on stock lines and stock filter, are these AN lines needed?
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
No not needed but stock lines with a dual pump setup isn't the easy way. AN fittings and braided lines make it easier.
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Stock lines= UGLY
AN Lines= Purdy AN lines win I'm going for looks and function. Plus my factory lines were ditched like 5 years ago |
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
I hope he makes a lot more than 579whp with that big turbo of his.
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Last year I made 567hp. We were just starting to run out of fuel. Now with dual pumps and a slightly bigger turbo Im hoping to make well over that.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Lets see it! When are you going to tune it?
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
I spent today putting in the new fuel lines from filter to rail and rail to fpr. Also the new magus fuel rail.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Very nice. Very dark in there.
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Looks good! I'd like to see what kind of power you make!
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Me too. I am having issues with the straight fittings on the filter and fpr. They are leaking gas and I can't figure out why. I tried another fitting and another adapter and still leak. They want me to send in the assembly to get tested. I don't know what else to do at the moment.
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Interesting... The fittings I got through map didn't have any problems.. Good luck
|
Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread
Are they o-ring fittings? Or straight pipe thread? Is the AN side of the fitting leaking or the fuel filter housing? Liquid teflon? As you know the AN obviously needs no sealant as it seals on the 37 degree flare.
