Personally if I didn't want to mess with a 60-2 custom trigger wheel setup (which is best, more resolution once you get the hall effect sensor spacing setup, as you pointed out), I would go with a Honda distributor adapted on the 3sgte, then might as well go Honda ECU as mentioned here: http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=38...ight=honda+ecu (Scarecrowx, last time I talked to him, was local) However, I sold my MR2 and now am rocking a busted AEM EMS in a stealth :bengals: |
Re: MR2 in the making
Not quite done yet. Installed a 94+ wing. Filled up the holes on the trunk and re-drilled to fit 94+ wing. Replaced cracked windshield.

Re: MR2 in the making
I still remember reading about an MR2 in Turbo magazine that would pull the front wheels on street tires, that always stuck with me. I'd love to build one of these as well. New paint looks good!

Like the new paint!

What? No more white?

Re: MR2 in the making
Really like these cars! Always though that they are probably not too fun to work on though when it comes to putting in a clutch ect.

Re: MR2 in the making
White is nice but you dont ever see this color around here. It is oem 98-99 cosmo blue which of course didnt make it to the US. Fixing parts on this thing do suck. I just replaced the alternator and had to drop the axle instead of pulling the alternator bracket. But overall, it's a super fun car and will never go out of style in my opinion.

Looks good, I haven't been in one of these since early 2000s I think.
