WTF? Apparently I got the 400 hp rods. :D

I might as well start a real project thread since it's turning into a partial shortblock build as well. Luckily the stroker crank and bearings are in perfect shape. Pistons are a little scuffed up but useable.

Wow that's some bad luck, luckily you know what you're doing! Head is done by the way, several rod options and bearings in stock ;)

Yeah, and these are supposed to be a lot better than my good old Eagles, good for well over 700whp, but apparently not when a little detonation is involved. I'll find out more tomorrow about the original build, maybe there's some warranty involved, that sure would be nice.

I started thinking about that last night, that's gotta be it since the pistons and rings look just fine. I'll look at the rest of them today.
